This News Article says that All 3 services will get 10 Drones each

But If a drone is Shot down over High seas , by a SAM fired from PLA Naval ship OR by J 16 flying out from Karachi , How
will be able to prove Who shot our Drone

Even a PLAN helicopter carrying a Air to Air Missile will be able to shoot down this 100 Million USD drone

Do Drones make Any Sense , on the High Seas

we can't manually fly and do surveillance 24/7 ..

While these drones can do long hours..

We won't fly these in contested air space I guess.

These drones can't be flown over contested waters, they are meant for peacetime surveillance. It's extremely useful for sea surveillance.

Other surveillance systems operating within the proximity of the drone will be able to tell us something. If not, it will be very difficult to tell who shot it down.

No, we are not going to fast track it... we are a buyer ...we will wait till they call us
They will call us when India moves to Russian sellers.
When stealth version of attack drone like avenger is existing now, why to spend this much money on such an old tech?
Any chances of partnering in Okhotnik B project? Indian UCAV is still at least 6 years away.

We are not going for any Russian tech in aerospace in the future...mostly we will go for western or indigenous

Our AMCA will be delayed and China is building up its J 20 fleet

We might buy 2 squadrons of Su 57 or that New Single engined Fifth Gen , the Russians are making

Rafale and S400 will give us breathing space for another 10 years, So no worries just concentrate on AMCA developments...We may go for another 36 Rafales for the Chinese J20.

Partnering? No. Buying? Yes. But we need to upgrade the MKI first before we can use this capability properly. By then IUSAV will also become ready. The difference is not a lot though. We only need three years of flight testing before authorising IUSAV's certification and production.

Anyway, the Okhotnik is in a different weight class compared to the IUSAV. The Russian version will have the same payload, but 50-60% greater engine power. The bigger size translates to a much higher range. So there's room for both types.

The Russians are working on a two-seat Su-57 for drone operations.

As many as Rafales.
First, interception is not the only job rafale gonna do. It already proved its abilities in a battle field, no matter how mediocre is tye advisory.
Now when comes to s400, uncle sam rained its 3-4 decade old Tomahawk in Syria when its airspace is being guarded by Russians with s400. Add to that, its predecessor s300 were in service with syrian military along with pantsir ( which is a s400 system). There are multiple videos on how good is pantsir is.

Rafale didn't get an opportunity to perform air to air mission, where s400 did get opportunity to perform its mettle as a surface to air platform in a real battle field.

S400 is just a repackaging of S-300. Search for S-300PMU-3.
