These chinese imperialists from our north have threatened almost every country to its east and south, they have swallowed almost the whole of SCS; the US couldn't do anything except wasting paper and ink and EM waves; but they did get a bamboo in their backside from India in Doklam and Galwan/Ladakh.

Same with paxtan, see the condition of their country, they now have to export their donkeys and women to earn forex. It is dismissed by Saudi.

And don't talk about Kailash range, etc. We preempted china then, and will do so in future too. Like we preempted paxtan in Siachen.

On serious note Our Airbase security is shit against modern threats like Chinese low flying Dji drones. And mind you, Irani and Hoothi terroists have shown a way to their Punjabi and Pashtun counterparts how to use cheap drone to dodge air defenses and target HVTs.
And I believe it’s just a warning. Future terrorism will be done using cheap drones.

Decades have passed no modern AAA is procured.

Our land forces will have no support in case of war.

Credit must be given to Paakis for learning from others and their will to apply newer methods in the entire domain of warfare including non conventional(terrorism) for gaining edge over much bigger and powerful but risk averse adversary.

L&T is developing similar thing i guess, but as a stopgap measure we can induct few around airforce station near to boarder.

What I could gather was that there was optical tracking involved plus clear line of sight, hence prone to less coverage especially in hilly terrain. Quadcopters will remain far cheaper and counter system will always be more costly and technology intensive compare to quadcopter drones which are not only cheaper but also easy to carry anywhere. Such cheap drones can be used for payload delivery in large area as well.

Yeas, its cheap. But we cannot sit idle.

What’s more serious is Suicide drones(Quadcopters) are much more suitable for non conventional attacks than conventional Human suicide attackers since the former is cheap, easily available, less time consuming and has more deniability. It’s also more effective to penetrate the defenses by flying low.
