India–United Kingdom relations : Updates

Who the hell are you to say we glorify terrorists,

Sentencing the men, Mr Justice Bristow said: “They did what they did in support of what they regard as an honourable cause and what anybody might regard as an honourable cause. We cannot tell the right from wrongs of it in Birmingham, but the trouble is not their motive, but what they did.”

That's an excerpt from a verdict by your much vaunted Judiciary, about the conviction of terrorists who murdered an Indian diplomat.

"Honourable cause"

Remember that this was the pre 9/11 era, he would have never thought that terrorists affiliated to the same ideology would be blowing up teenage girls in Manchester some decades later.

At least there's evidence that western media exposed this stuff

How your media portrays terrorists murdering Indian civilians as merely "gunmen" & even "activists" has been debated to death in this forum, Paddy.

Please stop fooling around.

As for this incident, some guy came from your country to our country and committed a crime by damaging your embassy, which police paid for with our tax money had to deal with... and you think we owe an apology?

Khalistan movement has been active in the UK for several decades now, Paddy. It's not as if some random criminal flew from India to London, just to attack the Indian High Commission there. Whom are you trying to fool here?

A terrorist organization responsible for the death of thousands of civilians-one which intends to establish a seperate ethno-state by balkanizing India has been operating in the UK for a long time and many with links to the same have been part of your government.

And yes, it's the host nation's obligation to provide security to foreign missions. This has been provided even during war, and it's ridiculous that this is somehow up for debate now.

The UK had been warned in advance against the upcoming protests & the Indian high commission has been targeted many times before. But you chose not to act.

That itself is enough evidence that the UK- being the country of immoral colonialists & mass murderers- is holding the Indian Mission & population of Indian origin as a hostage, against whom violence can be turned up or down at will.

That sounds like the stuff Robert Mugabe would do, but British can do it in a more "sophisticated" manner.

Part of the reason MPs in UK are so easy to entice. They know they'd be scraping the bottom of the barrel shortly as a nation given their well, Paddy like decisions viz Brexit, banning Russian oil & gas after helping precipitate the war in Ukraine, etc.

An unholy mess , if there was one.

It's also for these reasons they find a lot of patronage with the Paxtani politicians, state & UK citizens of Paxtani origin who know every UK MP is up for sale for the right price. Ditto with the Khalistanis there .

A zoologist accidentally stumbles upon the penal settlement in the Andamans also infamously known as Kala Pani or the black waters in 1903 while documenting the biosphere there noting the paranoia behind keeping everything under wraps from even common Britishers lest their secret of how inhumane these Concentration camps were, before Nazis popularised their use, came out into the open.

One of the funniest cases is that the American independence movement happened entirely because Bengal experienced a famine.

The British controlled Bengal Presidency and was one of their most lucrative taxable regions. Once the this event happened the British started imposing taxes on their 13 colonies which was entirety tea based imports which finally led to the Boston Tea Party. I can't find the exact source rn but it's even more hilarious when you go into the details.

Well that little famine & small pox epidemic cost you the whole continent Paddy . Else you'd have been lord & masters of the world for a long long time .
