Chinese Wuhan Virus Thread

Given that people who've contracted COVID-19 and got rid of it are getting re-infected inside 3 months, it's unlikely any vaccine will actually work anyway.
Well, you're spoiled for choices, Paddy. There's Astra Zeneca screwing up things, there's the Chinese whose reputation precedes them & there's this neighborhood hooker junkie you're enamored with. Your position today is truly enviable.

Those seem to be extremely rare cases.
Perhaps, or maybe people are just very careful after getting it once. Either way, catching it and getting rid of it is pretty much the strongest, most effective vaccination you can have, and it seems even that isn't enough.

People will need Booster Shots for Corona Vaccines

One Injection is not enough

Of course. The question is the number and the interval.

Majority of the people are asymptomatic though.

This is what I was thinking about today, tbh. Is the GoI actually formulating a plan to ramp up manufacturing & storage of those vaccines apart from deciding on a time frame for completing the entire process of vaccination which in my mind shouldn't exceed 12 months from the date of manufacturing of the 1st vaccine or is it business as usual for the GoI.

For, it's amply clear that Serum India on it's own in spite of it's huge manufacturing facility can't accomplish the task alone. Have we contacted other parties to jointly undertake such manufacturing? I don't think we have.

In Mumbai , BEST buses are very crowded

In such a situation , it is better if the
Govt starts local trains

Everybody cannot afford Private Transport

Didn't they sign exclusive agreements with oxford or something for making their vaccines ? I think other companies should get such agreements too, though I am not sure if they can. Isn't that the point of exclusive agreements ? I am not sure how these things work.
