They can try whatever they want, they don't have the credibility to pull anything. If anything this crisis will only boost Modi's image and any targeting him will backfire awfully and Congress may find it difficult to cross 50 again.

They should start testing for antibodies and allow asymptomatic/immune people to get outside and start moving the economy. The weaker population should stay indoors and wait it out. Easier said than done, though.

Layer up, use plastic sheets. Works like a charm. Take the Plastic used to cover sterile instruments/ventilation circuits like Bains. The single sided plastic is thick enough use it. Makes a lovely shield.
Layer the surgical mask with a cloth mask and cover your face with a plastic sheet when intubating. Otherwise you are safe.
Problem occurs if you are not using gloves, full sleeved clothes and covering yourself and the patient when the latter is coughing and sneezing.
And you do not decontaminate yourself ....

Indian Healthcare workers are representative of Indian population - careless and stupid.
Many are simply ignoring social distancing norms and simply do not have the clue on how to act around a potential case.
With ICMR earlier and GoI still claiming that there is limited community spread (for ICMR with report yesterday) and GoI no community spread , people are literally being fools
In March, before the Sunday trial 'Janta Curfew' had tweeted that community spread has started. But due to the directives of the GoI over such tweets, I had to literally purge my account of the tweets had made in run up to the situation.
Now - ICMR itself has said that there was evidence of community transmission in March by 22 itself ...

I had just been to the chawls in the Santa Cruz East. Inside it, ppl were busy loitering on the streets with shops semi open & crowded in spite of the fact that barely 500 metres away a few cases were found to be + a few days ago with that area bring sealed and police barricading the main entrance to that chawl on both ends of the street.
However, as with these chawls there exists a maze of gullys within. Ppl usually access them. Neither the ppl, nor the police or the administration is taking it seriously. No sign of the SRPs deployed to enforce the lock down in inner cites. The situation is turning grim.
Those tests & the results are till date. It's also indicative of the tests conducted not the individuals.
Those arrested & detained were being supremely stupid. But the ones reporting the matter are Indian Muslims primarily from India & the Gulf including , no surprises here, Christians & woke circumcised Hindus in the Gulf & India. The reporter Mazhar Farooqui is himself a bigot whose tweets are full of Hinduphobic jibes like gobar, gaumutra etc.
