Chinese Wuhan Virus Thread

Whole world is bringing their citizens back home and its a mistake in india because modi did that ? I would again suggest you to remove your hatred glass and try analyze things . Btw ,no other country have locked down their whole nation with just few hundred cases like India did , this is one action should be enough for anyone to understand how serious the government is in dealing with the crisis .
Man what's wrong with you and that Bali guy? Why do you want me to speak only what you like? Whenever I question government why you guys get your panties in twist? What do you want from me, to keep praising them? If you are so touchy please join whatsapp group debates.

I should not point to mistakes being made for what? To please you? Is there any shortage of slaves on either side of aisle that you want everyone else to stop talking?

Without knowing anything about me you start accusing me of hate and what not. This virus will impact me and you and everyone else, irrespective of how much you praised or criticized government. I can't understand this obsessiveness to defend everything government does by hook or by crook.

The Chinese are being stupid.

If Africans are carrying the virus, then it makes more sense to make them stay where they are instead of kicking them out.

Logically the govt should be taking action against the owners, but I guess the govt is using this as an excuse to kick immigrants out.

Lockdown is merely delaying the inevitable. People were patient with 21 days lockdown plus 2 more weeks, give or take. But come May, I don't think we will be able to impose and afford lockdown.

We now require a shift in strategy and i believe govt is already working in that direction.

> Seal the hotspots. For identifying hotspots, testing needs to increase manifold.
> Self imposed quarantine for elderly and people suffering with morbidity like diabetes, heart conditions etc
> Keeping schools, colleges, cinemas etc shut.
> Allowing workers between age group of 18- 45 go about their routine who can't wfh(basically age group with acceptable causality rate)
> Mandatory use of face masks and sanitizers.
> Finally, we should be ready for casualties. There's no easy way to say this.

Its actually beyond that. On 9th Apr, the number was 6.4K. 800 more than predicted. Thank the Jamaat. India should do a religious profiling of cases and find who is responsible for this mess.

I'm of the opinion that this study is merely a mathematical progression of the growth in rates of infection relative to the days lapsed . It doesn't account for the lockdown. That would make a huge difference in the numbers.

The way I see it is the lockdown will persist for a fortnight more with the understanding that post it, all those districts which don't record a fresh case within a fortnight would see resumption of normalcy in a graduated manner lasting a month or more. Those hot spots you speak of will follow a different trajectory with testing & policing undertaken in an aggressive fashion.

The key is to see where we are on the 12th April w.r.t infections & the afflicted districts. Do remember that the gestation period of this virus is 2-4 weeks. 1-2 weeks for the virus to show up in the system & a further 1-2 weeks for the symptoms to manifest itself.Let's consider an average of 3 weeks which co incides with 14th April. Hopefully, cases recorded after this window of 14-20 Apr should record a drop, if not within the window itself.

This reminds me of coverage in Islamic countries about India. They portray Muslims as victims and state as brutal repressor without providing full story, even Western Media coverage is so one sided which makes you think whatever they report about war and narrative before war is true or just pure fake news.
