That's precisely my point. Given how infectious & virulent this disease is, it has to be confirmed that for similar symptoms exhibited, the said patient isn't suffering from this virus. Else he won't even leave a trail behind after his death and we'd have innumerable infections with no source to trace it to. Hence test, test & test.

The rate of spread of the infection has now reached 100/day .
We seem to have reached the early stages of community infection in some cases. Pls remember these infections manifesting itself today were acquired 10-15 days ago i.e - 10-15 Mar 2020. We will get an accurate picture of how bad the community infection scenario is between 5-10 Apr 2020. That's 8-15 days from now with the earliest indications to be available by next Sunday. Fingers crossed. Say your prayers & hope for the best.

Punjab agriculture is mostly mechanized and there is no shortage of locals that can't harvest it. UP-Bihar is mostly done partially with machines and rest manually, they have these migrants workers back who would have been back(little less in numbers) even without Corona virus for harvesting.
I think we are not realizing that Union Agricultural Ministry is always Monitoring the Situation even in normal times
