Arihant-class SSBN - News & Discussions

Reason why you don't see anything like DRDO publishes is probably because of lack of highly qualified Mandarin Translators.
Does it make you feel good of yourself now?

I still remember yall reading The Deterrent 's posts on our missiles , and yall couldn't come up with logical arguments against his claims/info , Refrain from this brain fog behaviour . So what if our initial tech was based upon chinese or DPRK's tech? does that make our missiles less then others? It is still an enough threat to cause GOI to fast track BMD .

We developed S2 , S3 by our own efforts , Ababeel too , reduced the weight of the Ghauri to make a second version of it , Made the S1A and tested diff versions of it and a RV which was a testbed for the Ababeel RV . This all happened with a miniscule budget and worker pool .

Kher , dont make these childish statements again.

? no? the S5 class SSBN is on par with the new class SSBN by China the same way the S4 is on par with the current gen. Your being delusional/ are ragebaiting.
Really, very dubious. S4 design is much more modern (similar, close to western ones) than the type 094 which looks very basic, old (built like a workaround solution in the 'garage' quickly in order to have or just show something and with strong russian help, ToT)... No doubt S4 is more quieter than type 094 which has a very bad reputation; because of its poor quality, reliability it is doesn't navigate much, and when it does, it doesn't sail beyond China sea and so far its missiles do not carry (thermo)nuclear wharheads permanently contrary to western, russian ( and indian ?) ones
But it has indeed 12 tubes and 2*75MW reactors.

Look at type 094 design, ridiculous, old one, how can one compare to S4... Tss...

It seems that China's underwater, deterrent patrol starts really only from now...

The photo of last Chinese SLBM test shows it is a copy of russian slbms and so it doesn't match West in the technology of underwater missile ejection
