The uttam tender was the older tender. Since then uttam mk1a and uttam mk2 have both come out using the new improved architecture. Im Not usre if uttam mk1a was planned for GaN because the mk1 was only GaAs but the mk2 100% is.

The virupaksha is just a drastically upgraded version of the mk2 using the superior hardware base of the su30mki that has a lot of space and power.
The new DRDO photonic radar is also at like TRL 7 right now and thye plan to make that airborne as well. Dont know the exact timelines though and honestly for frontier tech like this I don't think they know either.

So Virupaksha is not based on the latest architecture?
