These near the border exercises are a great source of SIGINT , ELINT on IAF by Pakistan.
We can capture the entire digital spectrum emitted by the aircraft along with an actual picture of the pretty boy.
Due to IAF generosity and being such a nice enemy, that they do regular exercises right next to our border, we can assign a precise digital signature to most , if not all IAF aircrafts.
Later we don't even need a radar to identify that aircraft. By observing the electromagnetic spectrum emitted by the aircraft, we can precisely and passively identify, which obe is it , all the way to the serial number
.It all becomes an exercise of matching the digital signature with existing database, which IAF graciously keeps providing us with these next to the border exercises.
