Operation Sindoor: Aftermath

As operation sindoor 2.0 is inveatiable, and PAF getting J-35 now,
Last time we didn't conducted SEAD/DEAD missions, what should be our objective in the first hours of conflict, how can we eliminate the enemy 5th gen advantage? Or how do you prepare against Thier SEAD/DEAD operation?
At current stage best defence would be an offense, taking out all major operating bases,
PAF - minhas, PAF - nur khan, PAF- sargodha, PAF - skardu, PAF - shahbaaz, PAF - bholari PAF- marsoor,
I would say first target to degrade enemy capabilities,
What's your thoughts?

if things ever reach a serious conflict stage...... there’s no sense in dragging it out or playing timid....... The first priority has to be knocking out the other side’s air capability right at the start....... hit runways and key support infrastructure with a concentrated missile barrage so their airbases are effectively out of action...... This has to be followed almost immediately by SEAD/DEAD operations & this needs to happen within hours, not over several days.......... Operation sindoor have already exposed clear gaps in Porkiyē capabilities, especially when it comes to strategic depth and their inability to stop Indian missiles barrage, & that’s an advantage that shouldn’t be squandered....... Porkiyē can't do the same to us because neither they have the capability without getting mauled badly & also thanks to our strategic depth a luxury unavailable to Porkiyē........ Next IBG under heavy IAF cover need to move fast & grab as much land as possible from Kashmir to Gujarat...... If *censored* retards even think about or posture that they are going to use tactical warheads, go all out & annihilate the filth from face of the earth.

I would say, this time operation might start from within pakistan. Remember how Ukraine used drones to destroy assets inside russian base?

Similarly , India should start intensifying intelligence efforts to keep track of Pakistani assets and it's storage and movements. Imo , the focus need not be on J-35, but the Command Centers, Nodes, AWACS etc which enables kill chain and network centric warfare. Without those, j-35 is a slightly better toy. That should be followed by A-SAT Operations.

This needs to be done as soon as a battle is a surety, because pak will try to strike first this time. Hence, you gotta cripple their offense.

After that, IA, IAF can move forward SEAD/DEAD through Rudram and Harops. While Rocket force needs to deny movements at LoC and Sir Creek at the least. IN needs to attack through Non-CBG surface assets.

All this while, the responsible units needs to maintain Radar coverage and Air defense assets to nuteralise the salvos of rocket, drones and possible Cruise missiles. 3-5x easily the number of drones & missiles used by pak in 1.0 . Some might hit, needs to be psychologically prepared and public movement lockdown in metros.

But all this depends on the preparation done during peace time. Space ISR, HAPS etc.

There will be losses on Indian side as well. And this time there will be ground operation.

i might have said this minimum thousand times. we never cared aboutour security,we saw money & temples are more important. we are ok with pouring money in to temples not to military. result,800 years of occupation.

During op sindoor also we did the similar thing, for avoiding damage to installation we paused the war.

Modi doesn't listen to him much. He is there to manage the crisis only. It is possible that this is why he was stepping down for this term but then there is no replacement the government has for now.
if things ever reach a serious conflict stage......

It did reach a serious stage and was defused. In fact many nations don't want it to happen as they have invested heavily in India.

In a nutshell

So any action has to be preemptive so that the loss is minimal.

How Pak is stepping up activities in BD we need to also prepare to open up front from Afghanistan too.

Don’t see this happening. We are way too ideological to do this.

Also —

How come BSF is so accurate with hand held weapons in the night? Were they using NVG and drone detector radars?

I think we have some kind of “jugaad” anti-drone system which comprises of lmgs and mmgs integrated with radars - probably that’s why.

Framing comments to shape an outlook is also something that folks can learn and practice. A post that I came across a few days back.

This reminds me of another thing: India needs a good set of def. journos (many of the older lot will retire sooner or later).

Couldn’t agree more! These people are assets during an actual conflict - they help shape the narrative (where required).

We are sitting on a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. In the meantime, we are still sitting on Delhi blast - no visible reaction till date.

Remember they were planning to do something big and horrible in Rajasthan on New year's day..

They won't stop trying. Anyone can geuss their avg Jihadi mindset, they want to create the terror of pre-2014 India, when bombs used to blow up everywhere throughout India like seasonal festival....unfortunately you won't see any visible reaction...unless something big happens... although there have been some proactive measures taken in the background anticipating a potential War with Pakistan. But, don't expect us to attack them first, for obvious reasons.
