All of this would happen in the MKI variant. Testing and certification will take at least 5 years. So smart move would be to order current Felon as it is, around 2-3 squadrons with source codes(so that we could integrate our weapons into it) and get them delivered from Russia within this decade itself. Meanwhile continue to develop the MKI variant with our radar, MCs and other avionics. It should be domestically manufactured from 2030 onwards. It should also come with AL-51F engines.

This part is very simple and easily noticeable from all the official communication. On the 7th May action there was obvious strict order to engage only the terror camp targets and the tri services were forbidden to hit any military target/asset even those giving protection cover over some wide area.
Then once Pak military started retaliate attack that order was reversed and cleared to target military asset.
I think that day or the next in press conference it was mentioned some radar site was hit (pic presented later) and some AD unit near Lahore was neutralised possibly via Harrop (we saw destroyed truck or something clip footage). Quite obvious this unit engaged the IAF package. This was the initial escalation during daytime. Then the night events started unfolding.
