2 confirmed.

3rd is unknown, could be old M2000.

Ignore the red lines and the JF-17. The pic is grainy, but if the cockpit is behind the fuel probe, then it's an M2000. Then the hole in front is the nose that separated from the wreckage. But there's another hole below the probe, which could mean it's the JF-17. A clearer pic can confirm it.
I think it's still the M 2000. After all, the features of the M53 engine are too obvious

I must say the information warfare and general ability to absorb and dispel misinformation with Indian netizens is particularly bad. People on this forum itself are convinced that 5 jets are gone. I have been scouring the web since morning, I have absolutely zero belief in the Pakistani narratives. PoWs were there in PoK till early morning. Now, there are no Indian PoWs. Dams were safe till morning. Now, the Indians are tearing dams apart. Grow a spine and either fight or don't. Our planes went down...woo...woo. Show some resilience you can take a beating and give one. Discussion and insistence in the middle of war with absolute faith in a statistic will do you harm. Wait for the conflict to halt and then do all these shenanigans.

It seems not to be the HQ9. There are obvious Russian letters on the projectile body

Anyway, it's from Brahmos.

Ah, there we go.

What I mean is that the Rafale wasn't up against a 5th gen fighter like the J-35 or J-20. This would truly tarnish Rafale's reputation if it were indeed destroyed by an entry level Chinese fighter jet like the J-10CE. And I also really don't believe it, how could a Rafale be shot down in Indian territory and only 20 km from its take-off point? Is the J-10CE really that great, is the Rafale really that bad, or is the situational awareness of the IAF just too poor?

Technical failure? Was chased and shot down? Pilot was incapacitated due to G-loc? Too many reasons. One-off situations don't really matter.

Upgraded M-2000Is have grey radomes while the few unupgraded ones (M-2000H) had black ones. Iirc, it was one of the H airframes that reportedly had to abort a bomb run over Balakot in 2019 due to an onboard malfunction.

The UPG program for these birds was scheduled for completion by 2022. So, this can't possibly be M2000. Imo, of course.

If having a clean image gives us better benefits, then it makes sense that we did not target PAF jets on their territory.

And we used standoff munitions too.
They got a PR victory that's it.
The HTY-3 ejection seats are installed on aircraft such as the J-7III, J-8, and Q-5, which have been retired in Pakistan. What Pakistan has lost should be the Mirage III fighter jets
It's a Mirage 3/5

All 9 targets were within 100 km of IB/LOC. Since PGMs were oused, there would have been no need for IAF jets to cross the border. So the Bhatinda crash comes as a surprise.

Situation's on-going and it will escalate.

Twitter war is for Twitter. Here we need real information.

Pak has never operated the J-8. Their J-7s are on their way out as well. Afaik, they use Martin Baker ejection seats on their older jets.

They fired BVR's into our airspace. That moment itself was a military escalation. We did not want mil escalation and because of this now we will get military escalation because of our half hearted response in the air.
