Congratulations Paddy ! BJ was scheduled to come to India since 2020 . Good to see the visit's finally materialized. Hope he maintains his dignity & doesn't come hat in hand pleading for an FTA , more so since we've signed up one with Australia , your country cousin in the bush.

Frankly we're fed up of bailing you guys out every time you're up shit creek without a paddle. @BMD

BJ's going to plead hat in hand for the FTA. This is final confirmation. Btw the interview's from 2017 . Even back then he knew UK was screwed. And what's this about British Rail being professional & on time ? Since when is this true Paddy ? Last time I was there they couldn't even run a Sheffield to New Castle on time , the cutlery was chipped , seats & aisles not cleaned & the WC out of order.

Made me nostalgic about Indian Railways except things here are improving whereas there's talk there of re nationalising BR & add to the budget deficit I presume.

Some things come naturally to some people. Like spinning yarns & BJ. The things one has to do to in order to get an FTA. Truly pathetic . You don't see Modi pub hopping in London singing songs endearing himself to Hurray Harrys do you , Paddy ? @BMD

They will try to push all outdated tech and run over our indigenous programs. At the end of the day we wont become self sufficient but dependent on them. Its better to go case by case and have a one off transaction rather than having a so called broad based collaboration which will wipe our current programs. Remember all this comes at a price, they would expect to foot the majority of the bill.

Other than the snipers nothing else make sense. They do not have much to offer as products IMO

British Naval vessels are the best after US, we need to co operate with them in that field.
