Indian Political Discussion

Well , same goes for everyone except V.K.Krishna Menon and a few out here whose fathers were bachelors as were their fathers before them. Good to know about your pedigree though .Were you a Poonawalla and me a betting man , this info would be worth its weight in gold . Sadly not to be .

I meant three kids in each generation.

There's nothing wrong in our virility or fertility. The reasons for our numbers declining lie elsewhere.

Cheers, Doc

I am not getting into the internal politics of Hindus. Like Muslims around the world, Hindus too are an extremely fractured demographic.

That does not take anything away from the fact that the Congress is as Hindu a party as the BJP is. Just different type of Hindus.

CONgress is a Private Limited Company as admitted by their own Leader Manish Tiwari to Punawala.

The Owner of this company is not a Hindu. Their closest aids are advisers are not Hindus. Their family members are non Hindus.

As I said, Indians need to decide which type of Hindu they want leading them.

This includes all Indians, Hindus included.

We call that Democracy.

It is telling that the BJP has ruled India twice in the past 70 years. And never been re-elected.

This was by an electorate that is 80% Hindu.

1. There is something called "Critical Mass" and the hindu population of India has just began to break free of their colonial mindset.

2. Jan Sangh was was based on Nationalism, same as CONgress. Back then "Hindu" Nationalism was the only kind of Nationalism. Same is true today, but now we have labelled it too.

So it would be foolish to blame the small 20% non-Hindu population of India for the BJP never getting traction.

No one is blaming them. I blame the Hindus, which is why my posts are directed at Hindus to wake them up from slumber.

Maybe its an answer some in our country do not like to hear.

Which is that most Hindu Indians are secular at heart. And do not buy into hate politics and polarization that has been the go-to weapon of choice for the BJP.

The BJP did not get elected in 2014 to practice bs Hindutva in India. But it did. And will thus reap the consequences.

It is BECAUSE the Hindus are secular at heart and body , they voted for BJP who said NO TO APPEASEMENT of all kind.

Especially muslim appeasement, but not limited to them.

Pretty much everybody who voted for BJP knew who or what they were and the importance of Hindutva. Same goes for people who did not vote for them.

This is of course my opinion. The BJP might well come back into power next year and prove me wrong.

We shall see ...

Cheers, Doc

Leaders like Modi is hard to come by. It would be a shame to give him only one term. I don't know when someone of his caliber will come again.

Two siblings here although my grand father and great grandfather had cricket teams or something close .

The reasons lie in boring statistics and facts not the characteristic of polite conversations. Let's leave it at that .

Again, at the cost of sounding monotonous, we shall see what the Indian people think next year.

80% of who are Hindu.

Reading this article has helped me put the recent PNB scam in the right context. Same goes for the arrest of a few Jain Jewelers on Hawala charges.

Also why Pan Parag used to work with Dawood Ibrahim.

So thank you again for that wonderful post. (y)

I am wondering who you were on PDF. I admit I cannot place you. I thought you were your friend. Till he outed himself today.

You are too focused on people and not Facts.

That is good in real life, not in an anonymous forum. Its anonymous for a reason. We are all friends here, I just happen to disagree with your POV :devilish: (Now that you are not displaying any agenda here, unlike PDF)

Besides I had so many ID's on pdf that only my enemies knew me, not my friends.

I had no agenda on PDF.

What I was on PDF was also me.

Different place. Different people. Different mood. Zero apologies.

I did not have as many IDs as you did, but I did have a few. And on none was I untrue to myself.

Cheers, Doc

You are entitled to your prejudices, I don't have a problem with that.

You do not owe me any explanation. :)

Such a joy to see so much love between the 2 . Reminds me of that Ramanand SAGAR's Ramayana episode entitled Bharat Milaap . Only @bonobashi is missing here or We'd have had a re interpretation of Jerome K Jerome's Three Men In A Boat .
