All this cultural aversion towards non-white collar jobs has created this situation of having 15-16M new graduates with no new jobs. I think in early 1990s Chinese produced anything from cheap plastics to food items which were way low-tech and way numerous.
Next time stop orderingMitron I proudly present you Pradhanamntri Pakoda Rozgar Yojna
Eligibility:
1) Any graduate, post graduate preparing for UPSC, cuz I just reduced your vacancies to almost half. From 1300 to 750 as this poor bhikhari nation of 125 crore apparently can't afford 1200 Group A officers.
2) Any graduate preparing for Bank job, I just reduced your vacancies to 1/3 from 21000+ to 8000+ within in three years. Your graduate degree issued by honorable degrefied Irani ji will serve as a good plate to serve those pakodas.
3) Any other graduate looking for a decent group B job, cuz there is literally no major job which I have not reduced by significant proportion. You are the prime audience for this yojna.
Scheme Benefits:
What is not provided:
Under Pradhanamntri Pakoda Rozgar Yojna (PMPRY) you won't be provided any subsidy for Kadhai to fry Pakoda, no subsidy on cooking oil, you can't use domestic LPG cylinder for commercial purposes, bring your own thela and besan. Though onion price can sometime take dig at your profit but don't worry you will be helping farmers of country.
What is provided:
You can ask for Mudra loan from nearby bank, if your papers are ok and aadhaar is linked all you need to do is skim 10-20% of loan amount to bank manager to get a loan approved. The interest rates can vary over time but don't worry they won't break your back, policeman commission and his lathi for parking your thela will.
Sarcasm aside I have few questions to PM I supported everywhere I could have.
1) At 200 Rs per day as our dear PM said, if he work 30 days a month it will amount to 6,000 Rs per month. The minimum wage his own govt declared is Rs 18,000 per month. I won't ask how will a family survive in 6,000 Rs per month but how moral is it to quote 6,000 per month as employment amount which is way below the legal minimum wage! Shouldn't a prime minister be little more sensitive to unemployed youth which struggles financially, morally and socially? He just didn't stop there, after this example he went on further saying that he is on right track! So either he is not aware of these dwindling numbers or youth can live or die he don't really care. This much insensitivity is appalling and can be only seen in Rahul baba, Akhilesh Yadav, Tejasvi Yadav and other crown princess.
2) There is increasing number of contract based vacancies to avoid minimum wage rules and a recent circular asked every department to nullify every vacant post and remove it from system instead of filling it and call whatever strength they have today as 100% strength, no vacant posts, there is also a proposal to hire people from private sector who will serve at pleasure of PM (99% political party workers as proved in female board of directors case, Shazia Ilmi and others). Is this scarcity intentionally created to prepare ground for private entry? Where are we actually headed? If this is the level of apathy when 2019 elections are around the corner what will be result after he gets another term? Are we going to give whole country on contract at 6,000 10,000/month while mega businessman appoint own people even in bureaucracy after buying political parties? Will there be any merit based system left? Will it not damage the system beyond repair?
Special Request: Please stay clear of naked sycophancy and blind support, contribute if you can.

You would know, the figure, if you were not a Commissar /part of PolitburoI'd like to know about the costing of this figure. Sounds impossible.

Th232 can be used as a fuel in Thermal breeders with U233 fissile and breed more U233 than is fissioned which cannot be done by U238-Pu239. Thorium cycle can run in thermal spectrum which is inherently safer and superior to fast-spectrum uranium breeders.Indian resources are far poorer compared to the massive population. The Thorium, for example is only a namesake resource. Thorium is no better than Uranium 238 (which forms 99.28% of natural Uranium). The U238 is actually more abundant and easier to extract than thorium. The U235 is also an important component and extracting U238 as byproduct is more economical than extracting Th232. Nevertheless, India has large amounts of coal at 300 billion tons, of which 200 billion tons are extractable. This is the source of energy for India and even liquid fuel in this century.
Nice for you to jump in and tell us an example which looks very real.I am generally a lurker on this forum and rarely post,so here is my peice.
In my apartment we had a dhobi, his son did B.Sc from some local college and wanted to do bank jobs, but the number of seats have gone down so much that he failed to clear the stage one exams or preliminary exams.
He then started a simple mobile recharge and pan shop,he was doing just okay(500-600 a day),later he secured a loan through mudra yojna. He opened up a small food joint,he serves veg non veg all sorts of food.
I asked him what's your average monthly income-his answer was 2500-3000 per day,he employes 4 more people and they are also paid okay(₹15000).
So that was my peice, after his story I also got excited to start my own food joint, but couldn't do so due to some personal reasons.
This is just one simple examples.
Nice for you to jump in and tell us an example which looks very real.
The topic was different and not entrepreneurship but few people cleverly diverted it to that so that nobody has to answer what was actual question and debate get entangled into different topic.
You can see some people working too hard to link it to entrepreneurship by regularly posting irrelevant articles even when nobody is asking.
Breeder reactor is too difficult technology in the first place. Thorium may be abundant but the usage of even 1% thorium is difficult as they are very difficult technology. So, when you only want go use a fee thousand tonnes, why does it matter?Th232 can be used as a fuel in Thermal breeders with U233 fissile and breed more U233 than is fissioned which cannot be done by U238-Pu239. Thorium is 3 times as abundant as Uranium in the Earth's crust particularly in India which barely has any uranium versus largest thorium reserves. Thorium is far easier to extract plus it forms 10% of its ore vs 0.1% of uranium. India has abundant amount of these ores aka monazite. Which is why India has a national thorium plan in place since the 60s (its ability to implement plans is a different matter). Thorium is the fuel for the future. One tonne of thorium can produce as much energy as 3.5 million tonnes of coal
Says who?Breeder reactor is too difficult technology in the first place. Thorium may be abundant but the usage of even 1% thorium is difficult as they are very difficult technology. So, when you only want go use a fee thousand tonnes, why does it matter?
I know that oil will run out soon and so will gas and eventually coal. But that does not mean that you must insist that Thorium will work out. You are under seriously misguided impression that everything can be bought with money and investment. That is not true. Thorium or plutonium breeder reactors work uner extremely high temperatures and hence can't use water as coolant. They use sodium as coolant, which melts into liquid sodium and transports heat for cooling. Liquid sodium is a very very corrosive substance and the explosion is very much recurring. Japan, USA, France etc have tried their hands. Google "phoenix reactor" o france and see how the reactor failed badly.Says who?
Breeder Reactors are the future, whether here or in China. The technology has existed since the 60's. With enough investments it will see the light of day before 2030.
No matter, there is no future for coal as a source of energy. The world wants to move away from pollution and deaths, not towards it. Whether that happens from Clean and safe nuclear or the just as deadly but greenwashed - Natural Gas, the writing is on the wall.
