USA now mentioning South China Sea and Himalayas together. Response of Indian stance on SCS finally? Hopefully we take full advantage of the situation in favour of our Naval capabilities.
Yes offcourse diplomatic support is a 2 way street

[/URL]Sure please do so and we can start by you quoting an era of Indian manufacturing excellence post WW2.

Just read the conclusion of this report. Although you could read whole report if you have time.
Check how we had a robust industrial base pre independence era which was only destroyed by interventionist policy of government post independence.

This was a specific response to your specific statement that India never had decent manufacturing capacity inAnd then Indians took over and we are still ruled by Indians.
On a contrary note, we should never compare an industrial output captured by a colonial power from their subjects with no regards for its people or its resources. India exploited by British may well be an industrial hub, but it ceases once British left us on our own.
So the point of India being under a colonial rule is irrelevant. However we can take 2-3 centuries for this discussion.
The flight of fantasy ... awwwww
Compliments on your imagination. Do yourself a favour and fall back on the general knowledge you love to tote. This was a planned NATO approach on the Fulda Gap.
Seriously Youtube??? Wont even bother responding.
Will it help if you knew the ATGM will probably outrange the tank gun. Unless you plan on lifting the tanking on your shoulder and rushing at the infantry like in your flight of fantasy.
Where are you going to mount the sensor package? Ground based, air based? You know there are counter measures for EW.
And you are clinging to a single scenario like a safety blanket.
If I can negate the other side's advantage that way will it matter?

Hi all, my first post.
Will start off by saying that inspite of all the arrogance and bravado from the Chinese, their military forums show that they are actually worried that a serious conflict might break out with India.
Their military forum is nowadays 80% filled with India related topics. Its funny reading (auto translate) their arrogant comments that India is nothing and not worth their time, while constantly creating topics on every small development in India.
They are giving serious competition to our western neighbor in obsessing over iver India.
Correct. India was a major industrial power before independence and both our GDP and industrial output fell shareply after that.
What was built on British money? It was built on British money though.
And after WW2, it's obvious that investment will die out, made worse by independence. And later on we decided we didn't need those industries until 1962, when the govt woke up to the reality of the world.
What was built on British money?
British industries built in India by Indian money you mean out of which pvt enterprises like Walchand's HAL was taken over by the British for the war effort to build & support RIAF planes in India.WW2 industry for weapons. Weren't we talking about our production capabilities, or did I miss something?

And why have our retired folk become so publicity hungry ?
Trying to still look relevant after retirement is not becoming of them.
2 aspects to this media hungry behavior.
Firstly you give the enemy unnecessary confidence by discussing your own weakness so openly.
2ndly you effect the confidence of your own troops by continuously second guessing the army staffs actions . The politicians i don't care about, they can contribute nothing to our defense. Only except them not to become road blocks.
