That is a genuine conundrum. Congress has 0 credibility. BJP invariably emboldens the fringe and lunatic right. In Maharashtra, Fadnavis has done a good job - no scandals, genuine attempt at bringing e-governance to the fore and an impetus to infrastructure - I will vote for BJP at the State level. Even in Modi's Government - I certainly prefer that my coal and power minister is Goyal rather than Shibu Soren - pretty much the same goes for all ministries. But I think morons like Satyapal Singh and thugs like Amit Shah should be shown the door - the former is a fool, so one can forgive. But I think Amit Shah is the guy who will eventually sink Modi. If I vote for BJP in the Lok Sabha polls - it will only be because of lack of options.
Amit Shah will go to jail for murdering judge Loya and he will take Modi along with him. and RSS will be banned for 10 years.

There is something terribly wrong with this country. Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once we had the freedom to object, to think and speak as we saw fit, we now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing our conformity and soliciting our submission.
How did this happen? Who’s to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if we’re looking for the guilty, we need only look into a mirror. I know why we did it. we were afraid. Who wouldn’t be? Love Jihad propaganda, Terrorism, ISIS, Sonia Gandhi being Italian, Rahul Gandhi, Corruption, Black money etc. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt our reason and rob us of our common sense. Fear got the best of us, and in our panic we turned to this Right Wing Modi government. They promised us order, they promised us peace, and all they demanded in return was our silent, obedient consent.
We should end this silence, to remind this country of what it has forgotten. My hope is to remind this nation that fairness, justice, and freedom are more than words, they are perspectives. So if you’ve seen nothing, if the crimes of this Modi government remain unknown to you then I would suggest you ignore me.
But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand up against Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression, and together we should give them a reply in 2019 elections that shall never, ever be forgot. People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people. Strength through unity, unity through faith!
I completely concur. Unfortunately, the so-called liberal left has sacrificed common sense and true liberal values on the altar of political correctness. The same left liberals who were once against Jews being forced to wear Star of David armbands in Nazi Germany - once argued with me that the Taliban forcing minorities to wear similar bands was "part of Afghan culture". That is utter rubbish. If a sect or religion promotes any ideal which is opposed to liberal ideals it should be vehemently opposed, not accommodated. That's where the left has failed and given rise to the right. Today the lines between Trump supporters and Karni Sena is negligible.

Don't use the word minority, use the correct classification. The minority in Afghanistan don't exactly behave like the minority in India. How is minority even a group in the first place? Use proper grouping, not arbitrary. Also, minority in terms of what? There was only 1 muslim initially - Muhammad. Obviously every muslim is a convert. Islam was not spread because people found spiritual guidance but because of cowardice and greed. Invaders in medieval times were of all sects. Shakas, hunas etc also invaded. But Muslims stand out of it and had a long term agenda rather than just control over resources.
Every convert is one who betrayed their ancestors and truth for cowardice and greed. Obviously traitors must not be tolerated. If you are Ok with muslims killing, why are you not Ok with hindus doing same? Time is unending. There is no point discriminating actions out if time difference. In the span of billions of years of this universe, a thousand year hardly has any significance. So, action done a thousand years back can't be considered differently than actions done today.

You feel aggrieved that Ashwin attempted to stay neutral. Because you didnt get the desired outcome - you think you can highlight it and make the assumption that Liberals are anti - nationals. Clever - not so. Its so transparent that its hilarious.
I hold an opinion and speak for just myself - and no one else. I dont have allegiance to Islam - even though im a Muslim - i try to be objective and call a spade a spade. Read my posts to verify this.
I stand by what i state and wish to discuss all topics with people with various views and opinions. I dont and wont allow preferential treatment and if i step out of line - expect to be banned. However i can see when someone is irritated by my presence. Allowing me a platform to debate - doesnt make the Admin Liberal - it just creates a platform for debate.
