Folks, I have a question. Should we really believe that right now Modi, Shah etc are running the game in Delhi and in India?

I think that most of the policies and operations are now being run by IAS, Secretariat and executive of the country. Only purpose of PM, HM is :-
1. Intervene when something really politically sensitive happens. For instance, migrant worker crisis.
2. To be the spokes person of the so called "Deep-State", really the executive of the country.

Incase of war, and really really full fledged war, do you believe the PM, HM run the government or the war machine? This situation presently, IMHO, is like a major natural disaster or a war.

I believe, he met the folks who were already cleared of CoronaVirus infection. The homework was done before the show was put on.

Scientists are still investigating the origin of the COVID-19 virus which has paralysed huge areas of the planet - but one theory suggests it isn’t as new as we think.

A study recently published in Nature highlighted the fact that the virus is definitely not man-made, and is the product of natural evolution.

But ScienceAlert reports it also suggests a scenario where the virus has been circulating undetected for some time, possibly years.

The researchers wrote: "It is possible that a progenitor of SARS-CoV-2 jumped into humans,” and acquired new features “during undetected human-to-human transmission”.

"Once acquired, these adaptations would enable the pandemic to take off and produce a sufficiently large cluster of cases to trigger the surveillance system that detected it."

Coronaviruses are zoonotic, meaning they are transmitted between animals and people, the World Health Organisation (WHO) says.

25yr old died last night, today test report showed him Corona positive.

Something similar was observed in WB. Samples collected took 10-12 days to return a positive verdict by which time the patient had passed away with no details available whatsoever on the source of infection. What's worse, the corpse was taken away for disposal in the normal fashion. We're sitting on a time bomb.

Is this prediction only for India or worldwide? There are other astrologers who claim US has not hit its worse yet.

My very naive and simplistic statistics hypothesis says, we are on path of UK --not one of the worst ones actually. That said, more deaths than UK because of errr... our less than optimal health care setup.

The UK's expecting 20k casualties. With our population & sub optimal healthcare you can extrapolate those figures & believe me they'd be frightful.

Unless... something environmental slows it down or some medical breakthrough --like a drug. I expect a similar path. But, when I say path, I mean rate of growth and NOT the absolute number of cases. Absolute number of cases are also governed by bigger population. Also, my apologies, I meant the "death rate". Absolute number of deaths will be a fraction of absolute number of cases. Our fraction will be higher. 2-3%.
