European diplomatic offensive on India’s ultra vires acts
Syed Qamar Afzal Rizvi
January 30, 2020

On January 29, the European Parliament is scheduled to debate and vote on a scathing resolution against the Modi government in India. The resolution– which has been drafted and supported by lawmakers from six major European political groups of the 27-member body–has called on the European Union and its member states to denounce India’s ultra vires acts in terms of the CAA and an unjust Indian annexation of Kashmir.

See how conveniently he is fooling the reader for something which is forgone. Writing on something which is scheduled to happen in Past. This only happens in madarsachaap day dream and time travel.

Now the back fire would come!

Next time Pakistanis talk about rape in India, show them this video.

Khalil Ur Rehman, please sit - Comment - Images

It's almost midnight and I am mindlessly scrolling through social media after a long day at work. The notification pings green as there is a viral video circulating on my work chat.

One more talk show, I mutter under my breath, as I hit play. What follows is a one of the most shameful sights Pakistan has ever witnessed on national television.

During a discussion surrounding Aurat March, writer and director Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar, known for his intolerance of women, is preaching his views. He is angry that the court has denied the petition to halt the movement, and women will now march for their rights.

Amidst this very anger, he is blatantly abusing guest Marvi Sirmed on the show, shredding the same izzat he advocates for, through the use of repulsive and obnoxious slurs.

While losing his cool, he says, *What's in your body? Who the hell are you, go look at your body and face; no one even wants to spit on it. Don't talk in the middle, don't talk in between the lines. What is your body, bibi? Don't talk no bloody nonsense. you bloody shut up. B**ch!"

Saudi Arabia pressurised Pakistan to release Abhinandan: Report
Saudi Arabia pressurised Pakistan to release Abhinandan: Report
The question revolving the release of Indian Air Force pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthman by Pakistan authorities has found a new narrative.

According to a report by BBC, Varthaman was released by Pakistan after being pressurised by Saudi Arabia.

The report says that when Tanvi Marwah, wife of Abhinandan, received a call on her mobile telephone from Pakistan routed through Saudi Arabia and heard her husband on the other side of the phone. She knew that Pakistan’s intelligence agency was making it possible. “While one cop in the ISI was interrogating Abhinandan the other was allowing him to talk to his wife. It is a technique used by intelligence agencies to gather as much input as possible, in this process one cop plays good cop the other plays the bad cop.” Reads the BBC report.

Meanwhile, India heaved a sigh of relief when Prime Minister Imran Khan announced in the National Assembly that Abhinandan would be sent back as a “peace gesture”. However, BBC said the move was made possible due to immense international pressure, especially Saudi Arabia to pull both countries back from the brink.

The media reported that Saudi Arabia, the US, and the United Arab Emirates played key role in safe release of the Indian pilot. President Donald Trump had told the world media from Hanoi that “reasonably attractive news was coming from India and Pakistan”.

He told journalists, who had gathered for his meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, “We’ve been involved in trying to have them stop and we have some reasonably decent news. I think, hopefully, that’s going to be coming to an end. It has been going on for a long time”.

UAE Crown Prince, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, meanwhile tweeted that he had made “telephone calls to the Indian and Pakistani Prime Ministers”, stressing the “importance of dealing wisely with recent developments and giving priority to dialogue and communication”.

However, according to the foreign media, Saudi Arabia played most crucial role in release of Abhinandan. Saudi Minister of State for Foreign affairs, Adel al Jubeir, flew to Islamabad with an “important message from the Crown Prince, MBS”. Ultimately, the Indian pilot was released in just 60 hours of captivity in Pakistan.

Do you really think Pakistan was ready for full scale war with India? And they would have really retaliated to Indian missile strike?

Their entire airspace was shut down for 3 months.

What else made them send a package of 24 fighters to shoot AMRAAMs on our planes in our airspace?

As per our own admission, they actually targeted our brigade headquarter. What make you think they were fearful and were not willing to escalate?

I dont know. If Pakistan was fearless then after Aug 5, we would have seen some action.

Any action in our controlled Kashmir is no red line for Pakistan.
Honestly, no one knows what their red-line is. India regularly bombards in PoK and no red-lines are crossed. India shot down their plane in 1990s and yet no red-line crossed. I guess there is no red line. Its all flavour of the month.

Well then it's good that opposition and other regional parties are brushing up the leaders and training them for the real game. More the current regime gets squashed the better they do when actual war/skirmish happens. If they can't handle their own citizens and the propaganda within the country, then forget being an international player. They will get trained and won't let another Pakistani propaganda prevail.

Anything which doesn't change the status quo is no red line. Aircrafts, men, civilian, respect are expendables.

Bombing PoK doesn't change the ground reality and its true vice versa as well.

Tomorrow Pakistan can annex PoK and India wont do a $hit.
