Hey I don't know about other places, but the protests in Tripura were nowhere near as violent as those elsewhere. Some anarchists saw an opportunity for a "revolution" here and decided to get violent. Then came the a** kicking from the Police. Revolutions et al died down in a day or so.

Me too sir, even ignoring their religious literature and all as it felt just formality but what has happened in last few days where a groups ganged up and ran rampage, riots, arson violence, all in the name of religion has made me realize that deep down inside they have immense hatred for us. They are biding their time now, preparing for numbers but when time comes they will not hesitate to kill every 'kafir' in name of religion, even the most sane ones.
I am sorry if my post feel hurtful or targeting a particular religion but what you have done with my country while we watched is unforgivable. The image you showed of yourself in all its glory while there was no Hindu or anyone else provoking you is enough to shatter the lie we were living in for sake of peace.
I still have Muslim friends, good friends and good people and I am not going to break away but now will maintain distance. I have seen violence by both sides but almost every single time it had a solid reason behind it but what is happening in past few days has no reason behind it, completely religious.
Today was the first time in my life that I discriminated and preferred another shop, if it takes me to pay extra, take extra effort to go there I will do that happily than to trust you people again. I may not hate you but will never ever trust you, stay watchful friends, ultimately it all comes down to religion to them. Make friends and everything but watch out, stay alert.

Threatening and causing inconvenience to general public should be dealt with iron hand.
And what this nauseating argument that police can't enter into the university
Through my years at IIT I never saw student getting involved in these sort of disgusting politics which one come across the JNU.
Most of the people doing some research in some non discript tribes are nothing but freeloaders and these courses should be done away with .
