An 'honorary commander' and an AC-130J gunner with the 17th Special Operations Squadron firing the aircraft's 105mm gun. The side-by-side recoil cylinders on top of the new 105mm howitzer are visible at the bottom left of this picture. USAF

Look it's going to be the most advanced aircraft with advanced tech that no other nation will come close but it's not going to be exciting and people are not going to be awe like when the B2 was rolled out especially if the B21 looks really close to the B2. The NGAD will be more exciting when it rolls out because it will not look like the F-22 and F-35.

B21s will probably be the most expensive aircraft ever. They wanted to cap their price around $550-750M each but are expected to well exceed $1B per aircraft. Many shareholders of northrop grumman will be excitedly watching this unveiling lol.

The B-21 will actually be maybe a bit above budget but not $1B per plane because it will be using off the shelf technology. It's going to use F-35 engines, radar EODAS... you name it.

I'm hopeful that's the case. B21 is supposed to be smaller than the B2 and without the low altitude bombing mods the airforce required from the B2. Hopefully they don't squeeze more of my taxes than they need.
