Jamdagni's Father was Richik rishi who's father was Aurva rishi of Bhrigu gotra.

Bhrigu > Chyavana > Aurva > Richik > Jamdagni > Parashurama.

renuka is different.

There is a stark difference in the words used in sanskrit of other Parvas and the last chapters of Pratisarga Parva. This shows that those have been written in recent past. The chapters about Isha have been added with stories from Bible to make it look that Noah was Manu. It was the first great game played by evengelicals to convert entire sanatan dharma to christianity.

If you read Vishnu Purana and kalki Purana, you find no mention of these events in any other Purana. This shows that they have been added to the original texts and have corrupted the Bhavishya Purana.

they have been removed and replace by the ones I have told you about. But still they could complete the picture as the Bhavishya purana includes the time till Satya Yuga is re-established with end of Kalki wars and entire world turning back to sanatan dharma. There will be just one religion after Kalki and that will be Sanatan Dharma.

The advent of Malecchas is mentioned in other texts also. But this story about Noah and Isha is not mentioned. Mahamada and Ahamada are mentioned as malecchas in most other texts. The ilusion created by them and this false religion is also mentioned. They have been specifically created by Lord Vishnu to be destroyed by Lord Shiva. Please read the details below.
