The Quad (US, Japan, India, Australia Security Dialogue) : Updates and Discussions

Doesn't help matters when Biden is busy attacking QUAD, requiring Australia and Japan to defend India's stance.
Well your stance is that it's okay to invade an independent democracy, so what do you expect?

You know this is not just some poor democracy being invaded. The ukrainian leadership has been acting extremely fishy with all the reports if biolabs and other shady stuff.

The so-called biolabs were originally Russian/Soviet bioweapons labs, they were converted under international supervision to medical research labs. Just more nonsense pedalling by a madman who's lost his marbles.

If it kicks off between India and China. Just don't get upset if Europe sits on the fence, like India is doing now.
When was Europe not on the fence? I guess you're unaware of our history with China. We fought a brief war with them in 1962 & lost. We knew then exactly who came to our assistance. There certainly weren't any European countries then or in 2020 where we were close to another war, when we lost 20 soldiers in a skirmish who took twice as many Chinese before going down .

So please cut the BS & read up more on the history of this part of the world.

Finally before I forget, Ukraine voted all along with China & followed their directions on voting in the UNGA & you expect us to prioritise them over Russia.

Jaishanker is the man who failed in diplomacy with respect to china by depending too much on US. It seems he is compromised.
Don't blame a person or foreign country for the failure of india as nation to defend itself. Who stops you to build your military? No one. Who stops you to spend more money on defense? No one. Blame GOI for our failure.

I see no difference between present pm & the first ever pm in failing on china.

Who stops us to create import substitution against China ? That's 60 billion USD deficit, those 60 billion USD are more than enough to sustain and grow PLA efforts along LAC.
After Galwan the one thing we should have done is import substitution of every thing we import from China. Everything within 5 years.

Manufacturing standards and quality control in India are extremely poor. For example, there are some set of rules to follow during manufacturing and testing it's robustness. Indian industries are not that precise in it. The problem is with the contractor level and lack of supervision defined by the Bureau of Indian Standards.

Pull the babus in BIS and things will be on track.

If quality of our products are bad, why to induct it and getting screwed in battlefield & later blaming industry? You will not buy any substandard product to you home, why our military should then?

Then problems do come like INSAS gun. It used to jam and never fired on the target. Later the designers told it was designed to inflict injury to the enemy force not to kill. Later it was optimized after realizing the mistake.

Quality control should be done in civilian areas so that it moves to defence too. Unified and equal quality standards are required.
