Battle tested.
This thing is supposed to be an ultra light machine gun.By the way, this Dvipa Defence got the license to manufacture/market the ARDE's Ugram series, right?
That said, I'm not a fan of a drum magazine-fed MG for this role. A belt-fed is any day far more reliable. But nothing wrong in R&D and getting hands-on work experience I suppose.

Belt fed with box magzine will increase weight.
Plus extra money required for conversion, which is don't think dvipa is willing to spend

Does stand true.For airborne/vehicle-borne fitment

Another angle of the recently unveiled suppressed @sssdefence 0.300 AAC Blackout “Raptor” Rifle, primarily intended for use by Special Forces. This is most likely the first weapon in India chambered for the .300 AAC Round.

The significance of .300BLK for suppressed, short-barreled weapons cannot be overstated. I'm pleasantly surprised that SSSD managed to crack this segment so soon! I had hoped to see the NSG replace their SG 553 SBs with a .300 Blackout rifle for a long time...now it seems there's a domestic option for it!

300 blackout dynamics are similar to 7,62x39. It's a very good Stanag Platform.

The recoil seems manageable. The suppressor does a great job at noise management. There is a considerable amount of gas coming out of the ejection port, especially at full auto. While that is expected for a gun operation on a DI cycle, the Raptor has a short stroke piston mechanism.

I suppose the shortened barrel has that effect. What do you think @Parthu ?
