We apparently have both K-100 and R-37M.

Imagine what PAF F16 could do to IAF during war. If a second hand F16, which definitely not be a blk 52 is able to shootdown a brand new design like SU34, then our vintage MK.......
?? Su-34 is a fighter-bomber not a fighter. Anyways, air-combat is highly dynamic and unpredictable. So any plane can shoot any other under various scenarios.

However, the above could just be a rumour. Maybe it was a Patriot SAM that took out the Hellduck.

An old F-16 can shoot down the F-22 too. It depends on the specifics of the incident.

Here's an example:

All because the pilots became complacent.

Got to know that Russia was working on a new strategic airlifter known as Il-100 where 100 denotes the lifting capacity. Previously, I was under the impression that Il-106 will be developed which has 180 Ton payload capacity but that plan has been scrapped.

i heard that Mig 31 radar can fry a bird in front of it with its radar.
some fighter have safety like if landing gear is touching ground then radar cannot be turned on.

since we are increasing the radar power very much how much of a danger it posses to a ground crew?

or the spectators in an air show where the fighter is flying very low

like 3500 TR module with each module having 25 w adds up to 70 Kilo Watt.

As long as you do not stand in front of it while lit on, you don‘t.

If you do, this happens:

When I served the Swiss Army as soldier in anti-air defense with the UK-manufactured anti-air guided missile unit ‚Rapier‘, we were given a convincing demonstration of the tracking radar of the mobile unit. An instructor positioned a raw chicken about 3 meters away into the beam of the radar. After 30 seconds it started to smolder and after 2 minutes it was cooking visibly and browning.

So, do not stand in front of an active tracking radar. It is a concentrated beam of microwave radiation.
