We have more artillery than Pakistan, and you have miscounted the numbers.

But the real problem for Pakistan is ammo. They can't match us even in localized duels, never mind the entire border.

People tend to forget our army is being designed to fight on two fronts simultaneously.
Pinaca and other artillery rockets may see action from Indian side.
Likewise Nasr , Fateh , A 100 may see action from Pakistani side.
That is if this time round India goes for ground assault instead of Air Force attack, like last time.

You're right, I realize how right your decision was, India can be equipped with 10,000 M 114, With only 436 SH-15s in Pakistan, India has an absolute advantage in the war
There is more to it... its made in china... how good it can be?

Also talking to friends and family in Pakistan, not much attention is being given on public level to this fiasco.
Most Pakistanis are watching PSL cricket and vlogs about Imran Khan.
However judging from social media, Indian public seems to be very emotional and wants their government to attack Pakistan.

India has been blocking rivers from Pakistan for quite a few decades.
Now this is a false accusations again. India has followed IWT sincerely.
Cricket as a weapon.
Better than tactical nukes as a weapon.
Judging by the fact that not much concern was shown by Pakistani military or political leadership about this matter. It may not be as much of an effective weapon as Indians may think.
Anyways India feels the 1960 agreement was too much favoured towards Pakistans side. Any sharing of waters between India and Pakistan will need to happen under a new agreement which is on par with similar existing agreements in the world.

This time something really big is being planned. IN and IAF are ready to go into combat right now. IA has asked for just 4 days for IBGs to roll out as the battle plans for an exigency like this had been prepared long back. ISRO and friendly countries are already sharing data about the deployment of Pak Army and PAF. All options including an all out war with complete dismemberment of Pakistan are on the table. The final decision is now with Modi. My hunch says that we will go for POJK in a limited war and may destroy and cause maximum damage to Pak Army. Complete tonnage of PN will be sent to the bottom of Arabian sea and PAF being rendered unfit to fly as anykind of Force. You will the destructive power of S-400 in its full spectrum for the first time.
My gut feeling that, its the Akash missile system gonna make more kill on PAF fighter jets from SAM point view. We will get a huge demand from abroad afterwards for this.

They are never going to enter our airspace. The PAF knows it they don't have the capability to survive inside indian airspace. They will do something similar to swift retard. Send huge strike packages and lob h4 sow, takbir and maybe alcms and stay in their air space and bait us inside their airspace.

This time we will be different, so as they. They already threatened a retaliation on civilian targets.
And PAF will enter during initial day for sure, just like any other airforce during war.

Just sifted through Pakistani news. They have actually called Indian action of stopping rivers "an act of war".
This was the statement of national security council which is a body comprising of military and political leadership.
Lets see if this is all talk or they will do something about it.
The plot thickness 😁

India has about 5000 artillery pieces not 10k as you say.
Pakistan has about 3000 .
The difference in numbers is not that big.
In fact Pakistan has more of you factor in the size of both countries, India being 3 times bigger, only has less than twice as much artillery pieces.
It can only be said that Pakistan and India both have a large number of old artillery pieces, but not many of them are usable. Compared with Indian artillery pieces, their FPV is more noteworthy, especially since most of Pakistan’s troops lack basic air defense capabilities.

I think the biggest advantage that india has is the manufacturing capability for several missiles for several applications like A2A, akash defence systems, brahmos, etc whereas if Pakistan wants to reinforce it's military then it doesn't have the kind of capability that India has.

I don't think India has all sides covered for indigenous weapons but it is significantly better than the Pakistani counterpart. Like afaik, 84% of the ammunition is sourced from within the country so it can reinforce more quickly and more efficiently.

As it is evident from the Russian war that having the capability to reinforce your modern weapons is much more important than just having modern weaponry.
They have pushed themselves into irrelevance since their poor handling of COVID and Ukraine.
Tbf they were setup to fail when they were made, though the COVID thing could've been better.

Water is a necessity. This move will only give more reason to Pakistan for going into a war with India.
I suspect that was the plan all.along. it was all about water and creating an excuse to steal Pakistans water.
However the type of imbeciles Pakistan is currently being ruled by, may not have the courage to do anything about it.

Water is just a means for negotiations, it will be exchanged for land. In our magnanimity, we will offer to keep IWT as is in exchange for strategic land, that's all. We will obviously negotiate for more water storage for Kashmir given the rise in population since the 60s, which will put the govt in good standing in the eyes of Kashmiri farmers.

If there's a total breakdown in relations, then yeah, IWT is toast.

These towed artillery pieces cannot adapt to modern warfare.

Incorrect. Towed artillery is necessary in certain terrains, especially along the Indian borders. Your lot are the ones making the mistake with SPH and MGS types. It's something you will learn through experience.

India is particularly unique in having a portion of 45-155mm artillery pieces

We compensate for the difference with better ammo, like base bleed.
