We probably have another PVC for IAF after F/O Nirmaljeet Singh Sekhon (PVC, Posthumous)
About time. It's been a long long while.
We probably have another PVC for IAF after F/O Nirmaljeet Singh Sekhon (PVC, Posthumous)
Our own indeginous weapons testing Ground....Rawalpindi GHQ needs to be flattened. We need to make Pakistan our own Gaza strip.
@VSTOL_jockey
Apparently there is going to be a detailed briefing from IAF with technical analysis and proof....that ZERO planes were lost on the IAF side.
congrats- looks like your stand is going to be validated.

Unlike Last PVC of IAF, this guy took out a few in 2-3 sorties.I remember IAF vet MJ Augustine Vinod saying something similar while the conflict was ongoing, can't wait to see more about his exploits - and happy it won't be a Posthumous one for once
It will be Pakhran sirjee. Our own indeginous weapons testing Ground....
Instead of testing in Pokhran we should directly test on P....A...K...I soil with immediate results. Ifs don't react/survive meaning weapon has failed & if
s Cry/Killed it means the weapon is effective.

Shouldn't Taiwan be interested in Indian AD system as Pakistan was using China systems, and China is Taiwan adversary also? I believe that Indian ADS is much more economical than other countries.
Taiwan is crawling with Chini spies. Not a good idea to sell them mil hardware. In any case, they buy almost exclusively from the USA. I think the last time they bought even Euro gear was in the 1980s - M2000s and Lafeyette derivative FFGs from France. They use Patriot and Sky Bow, which is indigenous. It's not as good as what we have, but it's tailor-made to deal with PLAAF, so it should be good enough for the purpose. Both systems are long range, and Sky Bow is really cheap.
In the SRSAM category, they have bought NASAMS to replace Hawks, for full implementation by 2034. So there's some space for Akash Mk1A here.
They don't have anything in the MRSAM category, so marketing Akash NG is an option too.
Weapons exports to Taiwan is politically unviable for now.
I think Su-57 will only be considered when & if the Russians manage to fix all the concerns which led us to abandon FGFA program. But if they were willing to do that, we'd never have abandoned it in the first place. Remains to be seen if they have a change of mind.
If F-35 is unavailable due to geopolitical reasons, then we're gonna have to adapt our doctrine to the new tactical realities. That would include a very heavy emphasis on the Rocket Forces, declaring an NFZ early and filling the air with long-range SAMs so that enemy AEWs would be destroyed whether they remain in hangars or in the air - that would even the odds slightly before sending our jets into BVR duels with an enemy that already has the stealth advantage.
Doubt it will work out.

Yeah it will not work to that level, because of Iran issue. They need this territory, but I believe this delegation is a double edge sword to tell that equation will change and any investment in Pakistan will go into drain, also to build a narrative that India will expand it's anti terror operations.
I meant, if people have already made up their minds, it won't be possible to change them.
Yes. The truth is that Indian airforce is outgunned and outranged at this point. And its just a matter of time before PAF get its hands on Chinese 5th Generation aircrafts. No amount of cheerleading or insulting Chinese equipment will change the fact that PAF will have the first see and shoot capability against IAF for the foreseeable future. Our best bet meanwhile is to invest heavily in missiles and knock out enemy airbases. PAF had the better of IAF in air to air combat twice already.Folks, I believe time for Su-75 or Su-57 is finally at hand.
