Operation Sindoor: India Strikes Terroist Camps Inside Pakitsan

Exactly!! Chinese are know to learn from their mistake and correct it accordingly , the reason being they are preparing for a war with the mighty US not India ...We should make fun of the Chinese version exported to Pakistan but we should keep in mind that their own version used by their PLA might be doing far better , i am sure Indian military planners are aware of this and wont be underestimating the Chinese equipment .

We have only one enemy- the Chinese. In preparing for war with them, we prepare for war with anyone.

Rafale has no capability of SEAD/DEAD. It illuminates on radar very prominantly with all its weapons. Its approach is known and can be very easily targeted. While same is true about SU-30MKI but its 2 crew set up and highly agile vectors give it a decisive edge in any air engagement. I can say with 100% truth that after 7th Morning not even a single Rafale was used in strike role. Only and Only SU-30MKIs and Jags were used. Jaguar is an ac from late 1960s and perfomed better than Rafale due to its capability to fly really low and pop up to fire a weapon. While SU-30MKI flew high, Jags flew really low and used terrain hugging to achieve a higher radar stealth than even Rafale.
Jags, don't know how ot target so precisely even today. I saw videos it perform better that any other aircraft in tjat role in exercise.

We made Su-30MKI as potent as it's now because of constant addition of software, hardware and Indian weapons. Rafale's biggest weakness at the moment is its weapons package. Once we integrate our full weapons in it, then it'll be one fearful bird.

But unfortunately Dassault & MBDA don't want that and are asking full source code of our weapons which may compromise national security.

It may sound astounding to the noobs, but our domestic radar tech, ESM tech, ECM tech and even missile tech is now better than what is there in Rafale. That's why IN was looking to put Uttam into Rafale M.

Uttam is definitely better than the current RBE2 AESA, but it's not a realistic option considering the work involved. It was DRDO that pushed for it, not the IN though.

Weapons integration on Rafale is not simple.

As for Rafale, Vstol has said his piece, but let's see what the IAF says and does. They are the users after all.

IN was fully on-board with the proposal until they saw the timeline and price quoted by M/s Dassault, lol.

IAF wants to integrate Astra, Rudram, BrahMos-MA etc. with Rafale.

They will ask for more Rafale but now a big portion of IAF is in favour of acquiring Su-57. Soon we shall all know;)

You mentioned the missile wreckage. That reminded me of something. The Indians launched a 40N6 missile using the S400 system, but it was intercepted by a Chinese HQ9 missile. This must be the first recorded instance in human history where an anti-aircraft missile intercepted another anti-aircraft missile. This is the first time we have seen the real appearance of the 40N6 missile.

A very simple question: Why didn't the Indians launch meteors?
Becuase we like to launch brahmos

You cant do that as its CG limits are very very limited. It just cant take on very heavy weapons like Brahmos. This is the problem with CCC (Close coupled canard) desings like Rafake. Its a design fault. you can do nothing about it.

French have destroyed any sales potential of Rafake by not agreeing to share source codes with us. Penny wise and pound foolish.

@randomradio
We've integrated RAMPAGE(maybe ROCKS too) with our Jaguars. Maybe that's why they could pop-up and deliver the decisive strike which Rafale couldn't do because of Hammer's range or lack of it. Gotta add Indian & Israeli weapons to make it more potent. Ironic that Vstol said about Jag being better than Rafale as one of Rafale's prime objectives was to replace Jags in deep-penetration role.

@Parthu
What's your take on the above?

But lighter ones like Astra, NGARM, Brahmos MA(1200kgs weight as per @marich01) etc. would be rather welcome addition without disturbing its CG limits. But unfortunately MBDA is resenting it AFAIK.
