The reason for this is simple. We don't have enough information to go by to do BDA via OSINT.

And this is the case for pretty much anybody sitting outside the inner circle.

Unlike the first day, the situation now is changing so fast that keeping up with new information is getting harder. And we don't know anything beyond what was officially released by the IAF on the first day. Like the PAF response. So the default discussion goes to what we understand. And in this case it was the 5 jets. And now nobody cares about what was said on the first day, but discussions are still centered around new air losses on both sides, 'cause those are the most visible.

We should have received 2 more batteries of MRSAM at the minimum by now. Maybe 3.

We would have moved the S-400 SAMs in NE to Pakistan too.

Any idea of single missile cost of Barak8 & Akash and even s400?

The way I see this shaping is Pak Army will just use SAMs to defend themselves and wont care of civilization/terrorist.
We on the other hand would defend everything. So wanted to understand how this shapes.

That doesn't change anything. Taliban thought of themselves as a nation state too.

It's difficult to breakup Pakistan if the Pakistanis think PA is infallible. Kinda like the movie 300, the king puts a scratch on the "god-king," proves he's mortal.

That will bring in more courage and more recruits to the cause of separatists in western and southern Pakistan.
