I didn't say anything about Typhoon failing.
If you are wondering why Typhoon isn't the right fit, the reason is as simple as it's not a better overall design than the Rafale.
The Rafale has the better airframe, a more maintenance-friendly engine, and better avionics with better overall integration, all at a cheaper cost.
Typhoon's only advantage is it's a better high-altitude supersonic fighter, with higher supercruise speed and G performance. But that means it's less capable at strike and recce missions than the Rafale. And it comes at the cost of a less optimized airframe with defects and is not maintenance-friendly, the engine is good, but not good enough to compensate for the airframe defects, and the avionics are merely decent. The new radar will be good, but the overall system is still behind the Rafale. The only thing I like about the Typhoon is it has better MMI than the Rafale, color HMDS and direct voice input.
For MRFA, the next best twin-engine jet after Rafale and Typhoon would be the Mig-35. You might wonder about the F-15EX, but its performance shortfall is severe. And we are likely to see more advanced avionics on the Mig-35. But Russia's out of the picture for now, and American tech is too old to win.
Anyway, based on what I said, Typhoon too can be integrated to the same level as the Rafale. I was talking about MRFA in general.
Yeah, he got slightly confused as AkashTeer is our IA's integrated Command & Control System just like IACCS of IAF. But his other points about USA & China taken by surprise because of our multi-domain net/space centric AI based sensor-fusion are absolutely true.

Pretty sure Russia has practically abandoned it's MiG-35 programme as a whole, given it didn't find it's targeted customer during MMRCA-1 and flopped massively in the export market too, coz it offered nothing (avionics, maintainability) better than any western/SoKo fighter. Even in MRFA, Russia's likely betting on Su-35S and not MiG-35.
The problem for you my dear comrade is, your system didn't protect any important target, not even Nur Khan airbase. It's understandable that Pakistan has few HQ systems but why did it not protect at least the important targets? There is open video evidence showing Kirana hills being hit as well as Rawalpindi areas being hit. You have to live with the reality your HQ9 and 16 systems are mediocre.
Chongs have this im better than you attitude in front of everyone that they refuse to even acknowledge a potential shortcoming of their systems even in the face of evidence

BTW resident experts Cooper said in one of his assessments as have many others that Indian military thinking is 10-15 years behind the curve (he said the same about the Pakistanis). How true is this assessment and does the emphasis now on asymmetric capability in drones signal a potential change?
If the IN hit Karachi port and their oil storage facilities and IAF did the same against their inland oil storage facilities, their planes wouldn't even fly in order to get maintenence in the first place. If this conflict was still going on I think we would have done the above.
MMRCA Mig-35 was a completely different aircraft. Now there's a new one called Mig-35S.
Russia has taken deliveries of 4-6 jets. The plan was to start taking serial deliveries from 2026 onwards, but news died out after the war began. It's very likely that Mig will manufacture these jets before taking up the Mig-41 production by 2030.
I believe they plan to buy 170 jets.

Respect for the IAF going in effectively a suicide mission with no awacs cover and doing a successful strike mission with inferior bvr missiles. We were the technically inferior air force and still destroyed them lmao. We need to expedite astra mk2,meteors and amraam integration.
