With all due respect, "HGV" is the re-entry vehicle. You will never be able to tell by the ground image if it were indeed a HGV. The contrail in the sky are due to first/second stage motor. The actual maneuvering in HGV is during unpowered part of the flight or in upper atmosphere without using much of a motor. The contrail is mostly due to boost motors separating or maneuvering to get into the right trajectory. In 1997, An American missile test also produced similar contrails. And sure as hell there was no HGV back then.

Absolutely! There is a reason you do not see contrails so prominently each time a missile is launched. Its due to prevalining wind conditions in upper atmosphere.But main reason for these contrails is due to winds streams at different altitudes.

The objective of our armed forces seem similar to what the Chinese are doing off Taiwan or in the SCS .
Keep exercising thereby increasing false alarms forcing the PAF into a state of constant readiness which they can ill afford , continue probing & the day you see laxity observe closely to see if there's a pattern over time .
The objective is to tie down a significant portion of their armed forces . This should be accompanied with action in their hinterland namely Balochistan & KPK - FATA. If possible the other provinces should record disturbance too like what we're witnessing in PoJ&K .
In between we may see more protests like the recently concluded TLP which Fauji Foundation turned into a bloodbath under murtad Shi'a Munira which brings me to an important point.
