BAE Lands Contract for F-35 Block 4 Electronic Warfare Systems

BAE Systems has received a contract from Lockheed Martin to install an upgraded Block 4 electronic warfare system into new F-35 Joint Strike Fighters, as well as to retrofit some older jets.

BAE’s AN/ASQ-239 EW systems will be installed on lots 20 to 22 of the F-35, the company said in an Oct. 6 statement, and some older F-35s with previous versions of the EW system will be retrofitted to have the latest version installed.

There are hoops to jump through, before India could get the F-35, The Russian S-400 has to go, for a start,
Even when given all the evaluation data, There is a lot missing, including the true RCS, Only when a purchase order is placed, The classified, full data is given for all systems and this is only to a few classified air force personnel on a need to know basis , It's not even submitted to the Government officials,

Our government and head of the air force, doesn't know what some in the air force know about the F-35, it is very secret, This applies to all military equipment, Secret stuff generally remains secret, except to a few

It would be true that at this point, Indian access is very restricted,

They don't have a downgraded export version, like the P-8 and E-7 etc

I don't think Pentagon or USAF/USN will allow F-35 sell to india in any case where india is not becoming puppet of US foreign policy.

And Pentagon can not expect India to get rid off S400 which is perfectly working for India, just to know about RCS data of F-35.

What if F-35 is not as good as people think ? One can't bet their national security on "hope that a system is as good as the Nationalist of that country claims to be without any proof"(OSINT).

No one is fool enough to discard their working system to bet on something which they have no idea about.

And for Su-57e, India is having wait and watch strategy, if pakistan get J-35 and AMCA is still very late, then India will get Su-57e.

India will not allow pakistan to get and maintain any technology superiority for long time.

Pakistan has always and will always attack India if they ever get a feeling that they can defeat India.

You can tell he really wants F-35's for IAF. :ROFLMAO:
Of course, If you keep politics out of it, Every air force leader would want the F-35, even the French

He is getting a closer look this time and seeing it first hand, The Indian SU-35 and Rafales have been to Australia, To participate in exercise pitch black, He would have had full briefings on that

I like how he plays it off as being in jest brining up not being able to get close but we all know he was perturbed that these yankees as guest of India did not allow the host nation a closer look. That's funny. I wonder if an armed USAF guard told him to bugger off. Lulz.

I recall reading an assessment of stealth by an Israeli AF general from the IDF exactly a decade ago whereas that interview was from 2012 IIRC which was much before IDF took possession of its first F-35.

He expressly claimed stealth had a shelf life of less than 2 decades way back then & current events have proven him right.

Further we take what Yahuds in Israel say very seriously given there's more similarities in doctrines between us & Israel than us & the USAF / US.

Plus Yahuds in the US are a bunch of putzes irrespective they're on the east coast or west coast or in Culo Vista east of Chula Vista far from San Diego in the suburbs of suburbs. After all these schmucks elected Mamdani in less than a quarter century post 9/11 .

I got Gemini AI to summarize the Starshield & StarLink programs & China's response to both. Makes for very interesting reading.

Most major countries viz EU, Russia , India & Japan will have such set ups if not in scale then at least in some capabilities in a decade from now only to increase in numbers as the years go by.

So you see sweetie, stealth is on its way out. What does that say about the F-35 & more importantly the F-47 / NGAD & the F/A-XX program, you can enquire from your butt buddies M/s Generals Bogdan & Hostage.

Make sure you also get details of the E-Virus like Stuxnet the F-35 is allegedly equipped for & whose deployment against the Iranians brought shock & awe to the whole world especially in the way their Ballistic & Cruise Missiles were downed.

Don't go by pictures you see on the net of sites badly damaged in Israel or the various US Air Force Bases in the ME which got totalled. All AI stuff. If you don't believe me, ask Paddy. @BMD

F-35 Drops 8 Bombs in Quick Succession During ‘Ripple’ Test

The Marine Corps recently conducted its first-ever “ripple” release of eight Small Diameter Bomb IIs from an F-35B, a key early step in proving out the capability for all F-35 variants.

Could quantum sensing give India a new way to detect stealth aircraft, track submarines and navigate without GPS?

Dr Ravi Kumar, Co-founder and CTO of Singapore-based Atomionics, joins Sandeep Unnithan to explain how quantum sensors use tiny variations in Earth's gravity to map underground structures, locate critical minerals and potentially transform military detection. How close are we to making stealth less effective? And what will it take to turn quantum research into operational defence technology?

This gentleman is claiming with the right resources leave aside stealth in air but even submarines can be detected using quantum technology sensors.

Do you know how much time it'd take to develop this technology? He claims a decade but you can extend it by another decade.

And the US is spending trillions of USD on development on LO, VLO & VVLO FAs. As I noted before it doesn't take much to take Amerimutts for a ride. Of course MIC & government collaboration in draining the exchequer is another important factor.

Hue hue hue hue hue hue hue hue hue hue...

You've my sympathies, Paddy Pops & especially Sweetie.

Thank you for your attention to the matter.
