Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning and F-22 'Raptor' : News & Discussion

A regular salary plus commission & a bonus if we exceed our targets for every dumb American we manage to con over & above our targets.

Strike rate of the most dumb call centre agent out here handling American customers on an average is 125 /100 ( extra 25 means over & above our targets ) . Americans are real suckers. Very easy to gyp.

Israelis have been doing it forever. Pakistanis have been doing it for a long time too . The Chinese too have plenty of experience & have made quite a fortune off the Americans. The Afghans are the latest to join the gravy train. Why should Indians be left behind ?
Wow. Good for you so you must make over a ₹ 100.000.000 Ruppes a year which means.... $15k a year? You must live in a mudhut mansion with a 6 elephant garage or have several mudhuts all over Mumbai, eh? I remember making $15k a year as a 10 year old paper boy it was minimum wage of course but man I'd be a rich kid in India which means nothing because it's India.

Lol. Huh?

Ok I will post again what Safran said...

French company Safran, which manufactures the M88 engine of the Dassault Rafale fighter aircraft plans to increase its thrust from 7.5 tone to nine tons.

La Tribune newspaper said yesterday quoting CEO of Safran, Philippe Petitcolin that, the engine upgrade in terms of thrust was necessary as the Rafale had grown heavier over the years due to addition of weapons and other systems.

He said that the original thrust of the Rafale engine was the same since the launch of the French fighter. The Rafale was designed over two decades ago.

Sweetie whether you like it or not Rafale is looking for a thrust upgrade which means it needs a new engine.

In case Rafale ever gets a thrust upgrade, it's going to be for a future version of the jet.

Otoh, the Pentagon is basically admitting the current version of the F-35 is underpowered, hence needs a thrust upgrade. Not the same thing. It's not even begun operations yet and needs a thrust upgrade.

Sure, insurgencies are a matter of politics and political will.

The number one step is to isolate, and that was never possible with Pakistan. Same reason America lost in Vietnam.

I think it's fair to say Iraq is different than AF.

We are dealing with the same clowns across the border. Plus they are our enemies, whereas the US has significant amounts of control over them. So that wasn't the issue.

The US lost in Afghanistan because they didn't/couldn't put enough boots on the ground. Can't win insurgencies if you do not hold ground. It allows the bad guys to fill in the vacuum and keep fanning the insurgency. The Taliban shouldn't have operated in Afghanistan at all, but the US allowed it to happen for whatever reasons, and the end result is the occupation forces will get tired of it and simply leave.

It's Rupees, Puto, not Ruppes which sounds like a dish your mom would've made for the dog & fed you instead.

Besides, basic etiquette dictates that you don't ask a woman her age & a man his earnings . I knew I'd have to explain that to you. Why, you ask? Remember what I wrote to you earlier about a perceptive obsever of Americans who said - Americans seem to have gone from barbarism to decadence without civilization in between. You had to justify it. It was only a matter of time.

PS - Going by the minimum wages today or even a decade or 2 ago it's hard to see how you've made 15k a year unless you were offering your a r s e along with the newspaper to your clients. That of course is your prerogative & you needn't justify your earnings or your means to anyone out here including me.

F-35 with a full internal combat load of two 2000lb bombs, two Aim-120s and of course its 18000lbs of fuel doesn't need after burners to take off unlike Rafail with a similar load.

Pfft. Ruppes Rupees like it matters when toilet paper is more valuable than your Rupert.

ZzzZzzZzzZzzZzzZ.... I'm sorry, what? I checked out as I started reading your etiquette lecture. I guess because it comes from the likes of you who has no business lecturing anyone about etiquette. You must ride on a very high horse or in your case elephant, huh? Good for you.

Just happened to see that video. The subtitles were a hoot . Just to enhance your knowledge. That's a music video in the Telugu language - a regional tongue spoken in the state of Andhra Pradesh on the south eastern coast of India & Telengana which lies to it's west . Do you want to know what inspired it ?

Noooooo really? Btw inspired? More like ripoff which your kind does best especially in movies.

Plenty of time to think of a half decent comeback Puto. Instead of this juvenile rant you've typed on the run. There's no hurry. I include the explanation on how you made 15k a year solely on minimum wages should you feel the urge for a full disclosure. I'm sure plenty of your compatriots are dying to learn of a formula to earn an honest living on minimum wages & earn 15k a year working a single job , if there's any.

As regards basic etiquettes , had your mum & dad raised you right, you wouldn't be schooled by random strangers on the internet. The least you could do is be grateful.

The "original" itself was a rip off of those B grade Hollywood matinee horror movies playing in seedy theatres that you frequented to give hand jobs besides other sordid activities you indulged in as a juvenile for extra income . I don't know what exactly are you complaining about.

Lol. You're funny. I just love the way I have total control of you.

Schooled by you? Puh-leeze. The only reason you are going on these off topic/deflection rants is because you're being schooled on the F-35 with facts while at the same time being called out on your BS claims. This is the reason why you've gone off topic which I don't mind playing sometimes especially when the poor fella sounds like he's having a breakdown but eventually it gets boring.

You sure do know a lot about what happens in seedy theaters.

Show me a single post of mine where I've questioned the superiority of the JSF vis a vis the Rafale , Puto , except for your flights of fancy viz : Stuxnet like E virus , a new bomber having no resemblance to anything in USAF inventory seen flying over Arizona or SoCal or Tx or Nevada or New Mexico or where have you .

You sure do know a lot about what happens in seedy theaters.
Encountered quite a few upstarts from the US on the net who like you made 15k a year in minimum wages selling newspapers exclusively who later shared their miserable life's story.

I schooled them too for which they're eternally grateful as you shall be too once I've educated you thoroughly in the facts of life .

In fact the US is waiting for an opportunity. Anything to prevent Russia from gaining a Su-57 market in India.

But they are not open to ToT. Never mind the fact that ToT even for 4th gen jets is quite restrictive. So any numbers procured will be far too low, more like a specialist fleet, like our Mirages.

Now, if it's to be a silver bullet fleet, then the real question is if it's going to be competitive enough with the Su-57. Or if the US will have to offer the NGAD instead.
I dont think the ngad will be offered to any partner nation. Looking at the requirement that thing might be limited by the Congress itself like the F22..

Show me a single post where I've accused you of that? You can't. Even I know you're not THAT dumb but as for the French posters... I don't think they are dumb I think they are just severely butt hurt and hate the F-35 so much for taking away Rafail sales that they've become blind haters and decided to live in a delusional world when it comes to Rafail and F-35.

So the claim/hint by General Bogdan that the F-35 has E-virus capabilities is what has gotten your panties in a bunch? You poor boy grow up and get over it. You may not like what he said but that is what we call here a your problem. It has that capability and F-35 customers know it. Same with my post about those flying triangles that flew in broad daylight in clear weather at con altitude to make sure everyone saw them... man up and get over it. US doesn't have a $60 billion (likely more now) black budget and a "secret base" in Nevada for no reason.

Btw dimwit Michael Jackson's Thriller video was not a ripoff but a spoof on American, not some other nations, 1950's drive in horror movie culture but you're such a rage monkey that you don't know the difference. Now the thriller scene in Donga where Chiranjeevi (peace be upon him) plays Michael Jackson is a ripoff which is okay because I just love that part. I learned a lot about your culture when I first watched that scene.

Don't be ashamed that you people have plagiarized many many many many Murrrcan movies and music. What's the saying.... imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and you Indians sure do flatter us A WHOLE LOT if you know what I mean? :sneaky:

Ciao.

You don't get it which is understandable. You folks are used to your military being stagnate since practically your whole military is imported which means you can't upgrade your equipment when you want without outside help or permission but that is not how it works for US frontline fighter fleet. US loves to upgrade their frontline fighters a lot US F-16's alone have gone through 3-4 engine upgrades.

We like our stuff to always keep evolving which I know it is a difficult concept for you to understand. ;)

Here Puto. Check out what I've posted above.Your own words which you posted out here a few hours ago. You see the thing about getting riled is you get all emotional & flustered & start bitching & crying like a teen girl . Hence TEEHEE - a name apt for girls like you.

I also mentioned that the new iterations of the Zumwalt class are so stealthy they're invisible according to SkunkWorks. You would be standing a few metres in front of it but you wouldn't be able to see it. If you don't believe me, suit yourself. The onus of proving me false is on you .

Rip off, spoof, who cares? I'm not into pop culture whereas you spent 2 -3 hours agonizing over my bon mots & researched the entire topic. Your burn is all too painfully visible in the above post. 😋

Now the thriller scene in Donga where Chiranjeevi (peace be upon him) plays Michael Jackson is a ripoff which is okay because I just love that part. I learned a lot about your culture when I first watched that scene.
My culture? I'm not an ethnic Telugu speaker & if you think that Indian cinema is representative of its society in terms of the fact that males out here romance females by serenading them & running around trees & breaking into a dance in the middle of the road, good luck to you.

And That's quite alright. Most Indians think Americans have sex all the time & a lot of them aspire to be plumbers or construction workers in the US. I can understand most Indians thinking that way due to lack of proper education, exposure to the internet, media etc. What do I put down your observations to? Low IQ or your Irish heritage? 🤑

Ciao.
Why should I be ashamed Puto? I didn't produce those movies nor direct them nor even view them.

As I remarked earlier bad tastes have a certain universal appeal which may or may not account for the demand for the JSFs.

I dont think the ngad will be offered to any partner nation. Looking at the requirement that thing might be limited by the Congress itself like the F22..

NGAD is unlikely to follow the F-22. When the F-22 came into the picture, stealthy shaping was very new technology and there was reason to hide it. But now even Iran is making stealthy designs, even if copied. When it came to electronics, the F-35 has more advanced systems than the F-22, along with a more advanced engine, networking and even RAM coating, and the US has no issues exporting it.

Starting with the F-35, all next gen jets, including Su-57, have been designed in such a way that they do not need supporting aircraft to perform their mission. So they are meant to operate without AWACS, EW aircraft etc. And such technology is now available for export, so it's no longer a secret either.

The only thing potentially secretive on the NGAD will be some exotic electronics which can always be denied for export. But the jet itself, the airframe, core avionics and networking capabilities, are unlikely to be banned for export. Along with all of its loyal wingmen.

The only question is time, whether it will be ready when the IAF actually needs it. Su-57M will become available after 2025, whereas NGAD will need time until the early 2030s. Based on time, the Su-57M will either compete with the F-35 or the NGAD.

It's funny that you have to upgrade it before it is even available for operational use.

Hmm. Your definition of operational use is different from DOD's.

The F-35 is Combat Ready and Combat Proven

April 20, 2021

Did you know the F-35 is proven in combat with six services having employed the aircraft in combat operations or NATO missions? Highlighted below are some of the ways the F-35 is delivering impressive results for the warfighter today.
  • The U.S. Air Force’s 34th Fighter Generation Squadron recently completed exercise Red Flag 21-1 without losing a single F-35A sortie to a maintenance issue.
  • The U.S. Air Force also recently flew F-35As more than 4,700 miles from Alaska – from negative 30 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit – to Guam for exercise Cope North 2021, where F-35s conducted Agile Combat Employment training on an austere airfield.
  • The U.S. Air Force deployed the F-35 to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility for 18 consecutive months and the jet delivered operationally: 42 jets, 1,100 airmen, 1,319 sorties, 352 total weapons dropped and 3,774 25MM rounds expended.
  • The Royal Norwegian Air Force fighter detachment has wrapped up the second deployment of the F-35 fighter aircraft to executed NATO’s Air Policing mission in Iceland.

Well.... I'm waiting? Show me where I accused you of questioning the F-35 SUPERIORITY over the Rafail?

I know you're mentally a quarter short of a dollar but even I thought a chimp like you would know the difference between getting a factual ejubabcation on the F-35 and calling out your BS to someone accusing you of questioning the F-35's SUPERIORITY over the Rafail.

How you came to that conclusion tells me you're not all there guy. Or does being the victim come natural to you? Just saying.
