Israel, US Strike Iran After Weeks Of Warning, Explosions Heard In Tehran

Many people are curious regarding the Israel Iran Hostilities since 1979

On Twitter there are some Religious Explanations regarding the Implacable and Infinite Hatred that Iranian Clergy has for Jews and the west

It is about Shia beliefs

With this kind of Hatred there was NO way that Iran could have ever lived peacefully with Israel

This war was Inevitable

The U.S. Central Command has released videos showing missiles being fired and jets taking off in what it said was strikes "to dismantle the Iranian regime’s security apparatus".Other footage released by the military showed U.S. munitions striking what appeared to be a variety of targets from drones to buildings.

There are reports that commercial shipping has been affected in the Persian Gulf. Lots of chatter on SM as well. Incidents of tankers being hit by LM are also being reported.

Two major shipping groups on Saturday suspended navigation through the Gulf as conflict flared between the United States, Israel and Iran, piling onto a growing maritime slowdown in the region.

The announcements came as Iran's Revolutionary Guards had warned several ships that the Strait of Hormuz, the vital waterway for oil from the Gulf, was "basically closed", Iran's Tasnim news agency reported.

France's CMA CGM issued a statement telling its vessels in the Gulf to "take shelter" and also suspended passage through the Suez Canal because of the regional conflict.

"All ships currently in the Gulf, or on route to the Gulf, have received the instruction, with immediate effect, to take shelter," said the statement from CMA CGM, the world's third-largest container shipping company.

"Passage through the Suez is suspended until further notice and ships will be rerouted around the Cape of Good Hope," which would prolong the journey by thousands of kilometres, the statement added.

A video showing a MIM-104F Patriot air defense system intercepting an Iranian ballistic missile attack on the US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. Judging by the video, the Patriot air defense system was unable to intercept all the missile attacks. At the end, an Iranian missile strike on the air base in Qatar is shown. A video of an Iranian ballistic missile strike on a US base in Jordan is also included. Iran has attacked numerous US bases in the region.

That's incorrect understanding of the video as anyone can see lot of interception happening however the incoming one missile was not intercepted despite firing 3 interceptor missiles. Happens in a war, including but not limited to S400 which I have seen getting destroyed while trying to engage the incoming salvo. That's not to say it doesn't work. They all work well in certain conditions, subject to efforts, date, luck whatever we are agreeable to ourselves.

CENTCOM Update TAMPA, Fla. – As of 9:30 am ET, March 1, three U.S. service members have been killed in action and five are seriously wounded as part of Operation Epic Fury.Several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions — and are in the process of being returned to duty. Major combat operations continue and our response effort is ongoing. The situation is fluid, so out of respect for the families, we will withhold additional information, including the identities of our fallen warriors, until 24 hours after next of kin have been notified.

Probably the first iranis have been able to kill US soldiers by direct military action (not proxies) instead of giving headaches, interesting to see the reaction back home in US now.
