Only thing we can say looking at all these missiles & drones getting through air defence to hit military/civilian targets throughout the MidEast is that India's AD effort during Op. Sindoor was impeccable

Only real gap was dealing with artillery strikes across Jammu which lead to civilian casualties.
For that we need better ISR capabilities to neutralise Enemy Artillery Batterries
Artillery shells cannot be stopped
Artillery Guns can be destroyed with MBRLs and Drones or our own Counter Battery Artillery
This is what happens when you spend $50 billion on pRoXiEs and rEgIoNaL iNfLUeNce instead of military modernization. They could have tried to buy more S300, HQ9 and then maybe even develop their own SAMs, integrate them into a network and form some semblance of an IADS. And then also build remote sensing satellites and given it to Russia or China to launch. Instead they barked and barked about how evil America and the Jews are and armed sociopaths across the ME now they're being humiliated infront of the entire world.
They did try to build an effective AD bubble around some major cities. They had deals with the Chinese as well as Russians in place. However, much of the equipment was not top of the line and was neutralised in both the previous as well as this strike. Russians had been selling them for a while and the Chinese had provided them with radars after the relationship improved over time. There was a deal recently for new radars as well. I do not know if they had been shipped. If they had been installed, they failed to do much. The Iranians were outgunned. The disparity in terms of equipment and economic scale is too high.

They didn't had any integrated air defence, also the Russian & Chinese systems were piece meal, you can't stop major attacks with those things,

This is likely to have been the case. However, I have no sources at hands to suggest they did not try to integrate them or they did not have an integrated ADS already in place. Folks forget that they were facing the USAF and IAF collectively. Also, the USN had an active participation. The SEAD game of both of these is pretty strong. However, I agree with the sentiments that more could have been done. It is what it is.
russia is losing proxies and allies , first syria now iran. This now makes their ukraine job even more hard.
This war will slow down supplies to ukraine but once things are settled , west will can focus without any interupption towards russia. ( or even India).
Its a loitering cruise missile thats why it flies slow. It is integrated with network centric warfare and has higher chance of hitting the target.Crazy to see it in action and even crazier to think Brahmos can fly 3 times faster than this thing

Number of missiles fired was pretty less and our war dint go full critical. Pretty much sure we will also have same issue if the number of missiles fired is more . Surface area we need to defend is way too high, it would not be hard for them find gaps in our systems or overwhelm the defence.
Good thing about our attack is we managed to take out their radar and command center before they could utilize their arsenal. Dont think that will be the case every time we attack them.
We having ALH Rudra, can be used for that role till LCH comes online.
But real deal is JSTAR type capability, don't know why IAF isn't pursuing for such platform.
My worry is Chinese may go back to drawing board and may create another SAMs.
