pakees kang that they are guardians of GCC states but are no where to be seen now, i wonder why?
may be they should give hila le pakistan to new CENTCOM chief quickly like they gave to Israeli supporting Eric Kurilla

turkroach are similar in bravodo, when MBS was having his spat with kataris, roaches opened a small base in katar and said because of it saudis backed off, so where are turkroaches now that Israel attacked ally katar?

US President Donald Trump has said he's "not thrilled" about Israeli air strike in Qatar, adding to the international pressure after the unpredecented expansion of Israel's war against Hamas.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the strike was "fully justified" because it targeted senior Hamas leaders who organised the 7 October 2023 attack on Israel, which triggered the Gaza war.

Asked about Israel's strikes against Qatar, Trump said: "Well, I'm not thrilled... I'm just I'm not thrilled about the whole situation. It's not a good situation.

"But I will say this, we want the hostages back, but we are not thrilled about the way that went down today," he told the media.

Israel and Hamas have agreed to the “first phase” of his peace plan to pause fighting and release at least some hostages and prisoners, U.S. President Donald Trump said Wednesday in announcing the outlines of the biggest breakthrough in months in the two-year-old war.

“This means that ALL of the Hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps toward a Strong, Durable, and Everlasting Peace,” Trump wrote on social media. “All Parties will be treated fairly!”

Israelis on Monday prepared to welcome home the last 20 living hostages from devastated Gaza and mourn the return of the dead, in the key exchange of the breakthrough ceasefire after two years of war.

Palestinians awaited the release of hundreds of prisoners held by Israel. U.S. President Donald Trump was arriving in the region along with other leaders to discuss the U.S.-proposed deal and postwar plans. A surge of humanitarian aid was expected into famine-stricken Gaza, where hundreds of thousands of people have been left homeless.

While major questions remain about the future of Hamas and Gaza, the exchange of hostages and prisoners marked a key step toward ending the deadliest war ever between Israel and the militant group.

Things have now started to become much more clearer. It makes sense as well as PA will be keen to bring home that Euro or Dollar. However, the soldiers can be Pakistani but the commanders are likely to be Arab or Western.

So, finally pakistan will have its wish fulfilled. Having it out with Israel 😂.

Expect more coordination between India and Israel then.

Many Palestinians fear the possibility of the eruption of civil conflict between Hamas and rival clans they suspect Israel has been arming and backing.

The issue is a sign of weaknesses in the Sharm el-Sheikh truce deal, which did not extend to any agreement over a proposed international stabilisation force nor the proposed demilitarisation of Gaza.

Hamas, attempting to shore up its weakened rule, rejects claims of breaching the ceasefire agreement, instead accusing Israel of multiple breaches.

The Israeli far right in Netanyahu’s coalition is using the moment to call for a full resumption of the war.

On Thursday Trump, now appearing to have switched from his posture at the start of the week, posted: “If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the Deal, we will have no choice but to go in and kill them.”

It was just a political ego assuaging and face saving deal for trump after Ukraine failure and fiasco vis a vis OP sindoor's ceasefire claims.

Other PR event like thailand combodia conflict, Azerbaijan-Armenia-Trump corridor, Israel-Iran-B-2 bombers, attempts in Africa etc.. yielded no significant results. He probably thought only Gaza has enough PR value now. I mean, israel and hamas aren't signatory to the israel-hamas ceasefire agreement 🙃. Giving PR to Trump as well as way out for parties involved.

The real failure is that they couldn't manage the farce to be in place for even a month.

At least 30 people were killed, while dozens of others were injured in Israeli attacks in the Palestinian territory, AFP quoted Gaza’s civil defence agency as saying on Wednesday.

The toll came hours after Gaza’s civil defence agency said Israel carried out air strikes on Tuesday despite an ongoing ceasefire, after the Israeli military accused Hamas of attacking its troops and violating the US-brokered truce.

“At least 30 killed and dozens of wounded as a result of the Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip, and our crews are still working to recover the dead and wounded from under the rubble," Mahmud Basal, spokesman for the agency, was quoted as saying.

However, US Vice President JD Vance, part of a parade of Trump administration officials who visited Israel last week, said the “ceasefire was holding" despite Tuesday’s “skirmishes".

The UN Security Council passed a US-drafted resolution Monday that aims to move beyond the fragile truce in Gaza to a more sustainable peace and the reconstruction of the devastated enclave.

The 15-member council voted 13 to 0 in favor of the resolution, with abstentions by Russia and China, which declined to use their veto power to block the measure.

The resolution was intended to add international legitimacy to US President Donald Trump’s 20-point Gaza plan, parts of which formed the basis of the ceasefire that took effect in the Gaza Strip last month. The United States had lobbied hard for its passage, which was praised by Trump in a lengthy post on social media.

“Congratulations to the World on the incredible Vote of the United Nations Security Council, just moments ago, acknowledging and endorsing the BOARD OF PEACE, which will be chaired by me, and include the most powerful and respected Leaders throughout the World,” Trump wrote Monday.

The resolution authorized elements of the plan, including the establishment of the “Board of Peace” as a transitional authority and the creation of a temporary International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza, according to a draft seen by CNN.

So the Trump plan will get a UN mandate which means in all likelihood you're going to see a UN peacekeeping force there .

Interesting !

Israel will insist the mandate must include disarming Hamas as well as destruction of their tunnel network & mfg capacities as far as rockets & other lethal munitions go .

This is apart from the usual mandate of such peacekeeping operations to keep warring parties apart by inserting the peacekeeping force in their midst .

More attempts to square the circle IMO. Let's see how long this charade lasts . More importantly let's see if Fauji Foundation is part of this force. UN peacekeeping doesn't pay as much as the Trump plan under the plan his adminstration would've , so that's a disincentive.
