Indian Missiles and Munitions Discussion

Naval Anti-Ship Missile-Short Range (NASM-SR) test firing.

Prithvi is quasi ballistic, xand has a significantly long midcourse level flight, at slow speed.
It never leaves the atmosphere and needs air for generating lift from the large mid section wings.
The terminal velocity isn't great too.
Such missile is very susceptible to ABM.
Pakistan now has HQ-9 which is highly likely to have ABM capability.

Without PMU missiles there's no reasonable ABM threat to any Indian missile flying inside Pakistani atmosphere as of now.

A good SAM like Barak 8 has intercepted SRBMs very recently in real conflict. But then again neither HQ9 nor the Buk copy , LY80 is any where near in capability.
