Indonesia's Defence Minister's visit to India is set to boost a prospective deal for the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile, currently in advanced negotiations. India may also become a maintenance hub for Indonesia's Air Force and Navy, enhancing defence ties and focusing on the Indian Ocean Region.

Akash has lost the $1 Billion Brazil deal to MBDA's EMADS. Brazil will buy 2 batteries each with 96 missiles. One of the reasons is CAMM-ER missile of EMADS is already in use with Brazil Navy's Tamandare class frigates. Thus optimizing supply chain and training between their armed forces. Brazil is also trying to get technology transfer of the Leonardo's Kronos AESA radar used in EMADS to improve and produce their own radars domestically, taking the SABER M200 Vigilante radar as a starting point. This is a key point in the ongoing G2G negotiations.
Meeting with Representatives of the Company "TATA" at the Hellenic Army General Staff

On 12 Dec 25, a meeting was held between the staff of the Hellenic Army General Staff and representatives of the company TATA, regarding the temporary disposal of a wheeled 8×8 Armored Infantry Fighting Vehicle to the Hellenic Army General Staff, for the execution of tests.

Greece looking at TATA’s WhAP infantry combat vehicle for army procurement
If deal goes through, Greece will be 2nd foreign country to procure vehicle. Morocco was first; TATA Group has set up manufacturing unit there with minimum 30 percent indigenous content.

Shri Sanjeev Kumar holds bilateral meetings with Kenya MoD officials to strengthen bilateral defence ties.
Secretary (Defence Production) Shri Sanjeev Kumar has urged the Kenya Defence Forces to explore collaborative opportunities with Indian companies. He addressed the third India-Kenya Defence Exhibition & Seminar in Nairobi during his three-day visit to Kenya that concluded on January 21, 2026. The Secretary (DP) highlighted the robust capabilities of the Indian defence industrial ecosystem and emphasised on the need to build upon the strong bilateral relations and long-standing friendship built on mutual respect, trust & cooperation.
During his visit, the Secretary (Defence Production) also held meetings with Principal Secretary, MoD Kenya Mr Patrick Mariru and Vice Chief of Defence Staff, Kenya Lt Gen John M. Omenda to discuss various areas of defence cooperation and further strengthen the ties. During the meeting with Mr Patrick Mariru, both sides noted the encouraging participation of Indian defence companies at the India-Kenya Defence Expo and Seminar across key defence domains including shipbuilding and naval systems, land systems, UAVs, missile systems, weapons, ammunition and explosives, armoured and military vehicles, optical devices, protection systems, and cyber security. It was also noted that the Kenya Defence Forces will hold separate meetings with participating Indian industries.
Discussions with Lt Gen John M Omenda focused on further strengthening bilateral defence cooperation. Deliberations were held on defence industrial partnerships, capacity building, training, marine sustainment, and long-term cooperation in defence exports and maintenance support.
Shri Sanjeev Kumar also visited Kenya Shipyard Ltd, Mombasa and pressed for an early implementation of MoU signed between Kenya Shipyard Ltd and Goa Shipyard Ltd.

If they can sell a system, it would be a win for the domestic industry. If the LRLACM would have been deployed, I would add it to the systems on offer. The Islands under Greek control can indeed house batteries that can be used for deterrence.
