Aside from the hydrogen powerplant, this is what modern Indian trucks will have to look like considering Indian road conditions. We haven't yet built enough good road infrastructure to make articulated tractors viable. Kudos to Ashok Leyland. I wonder if the chassis is leaf-sprung. Would be an interesting mix of old and new technology.Hydrogen Cell Ahsok Leyland Truck

Can’t understand why a billion dollars company who owns JLR, can’t design a decent looking front grill in an otherwise elegantly designed car. Lower grill is looking atrociously plasticity. Even my Home windows have better looking grills that this thing
PS: at least they finally got the frontal fascia and headlights cluster right. Even grill (upper) is welcome upgrade to previous gen more rounded design
PS2: they should update the headlights cluster of Harrier too and make it more simple like this one or just go for full led setup like modern Hyundais

I got this one. Once you ignore the front grill, it’s a fantastic car.Still better than BMW's latest abomination tbh.View attachment 26027

When compared to any modern nation, Indian highways are pretty good. In the west, people typically drive 2 to 3 litre engne cars in USA however, in India, people drive 1 to 2-liter engine cars since they are fully efficient. Another difference between India and most western countries is that in India, 2-wheelers are common on highways like in Asian nations, making it unsafe to drive at high speeds.Aside from the hydrogen powerplant, this is what modern Indian trucks will have to look like considering Indian road conditions. On a sidenote, when I was in India last I was aghast to learn the Mercedes were selling lower spec saloons for a hgher price than in Europe and NA. Their excuse/marketing being that Indian roads didn't allow for a V6, so a straight 4 was chosen instead. Seemed like a total ripoff.
I wonder if we'll see Indian auto manufacturers replicate the success Royal Enfield are having in NA in the future, after domectic demand is met of course.
A regular ICE modified to run on hydrogen. The alternative is a hydrogen fuel cell which converts hydrogen fuel to electricity. Here is a good video on the drawbacks to hydrogen combustion.
Does anyone have more information on what exactly is Hydrogen ICE engine? Apparently it doesn't emit any pollutants too except if you consider water vapour to be one.
