I guess we do not intent to capture any land from Pakistan, and we will be happy to settle the dispute with Status Quo.......

Status Quo is not accepted by Pakistan how can India accept it. Kargil happened because Pakistan's army does not recognize any status quo. This is why Agra summit went without signature or outcome.
Status quo means losing POK for ever.

By the way as per Shimla agreement Status quo is only possible til point NJ9842 not in Siachen. Because we do not have any LOC there. The demarcation is observed as AGPL.

Yaar...baray baray mulkoon mein chotee chotee cheezain hotee rehtii hain
worry not :ROFLMAO:
Oh I'd be very worried , if I were you .Or may be not , if I were of Mirpuri stock. Whether UK liked me or my lot , they'd have to accept us.Any disturbance like 1992 , firebomb the nearest temple or gurudwara and we've done our deed . Pakistan will go on .If they've survived 1971 , why can't they survive more grievous blows ?

Actually the idea is to find our weak spot, It is better to find them during an exercise rather than realising it during a war, Are you suggesting that the outcome of such exercise would be available with Enemy???? Well most probably the leaks would be adequate to ensure that enemy is made to understand what the over all outcome, rather than one or two short falls.....There are different scenarios and doctrines get tested, some may fail and some may succeed, but in both the cases you get important information on those doctrines, or maneuvers which will be used in actual scenario...... (i do not know @Falcon has already addressed this, havent read the last page yet)

I doubt that the enemy depends solely on leaks to gauge the weak spots
To check your Patloon size , aurat e Momin , just like BD. Please remember India was ruled & is ruled majorly by Brahmins and baniyas. A Brahmin woman ( no matter what @vsdoc says. He belongs to the first Monotheistic community screwed by the 2 nd last one .The Communists are the last Abrahamic/ Semitic / Monotheistic religion ) screwed you in 1971 . It's a Baniya's turn now . Do be accommodating.

Btw - still waiting for your thesis on the Taliban .

You're just stinging from the non-banterized reality of being a little hater my friend.

Baniya. Wow ....

Cheers, Doc

‘There are known knowns. There are things we know that we know.

There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we now know we don't know.

But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we do not know we don't know.’

So this exercise will tell us what we need to do in a Real Two front war

Details of Gagan Shakti leaked by Group Captain to ISI

New Delhi: Group Captain Arun Marwaha leaked sensitive information on national security to Pakistan's ISI, Delhi Police said in its chargesheet against him.

The Police said that in total 12 sensitive documents, including the upcoming 'Ek Gagan Shakti' Air Force exercise and IAF-Army joint Human Aid in Disaster relief exercise, were passed on. The exercises now remain stalled.

The chargesheet said that Marwaha, who was in the post of Joint Director Operations (PARA) at Indian Air Force Headquarters, and the ISI agents would talk on a 'hookup' app. The platform provided them secured chats which get deleted every time the users log out.

The officer was first approached by the agents on Facebook from two IDs named Kiran Randhawa and Mahima Patel. They then started chatting with him on WhatsApp, followed by the app.

The chats between the agents and Marwaha were explicit in nature. It was done to honey trap him, the group captain confessed in his disclosure statement.

On approaching Facebook, the IP addresses of the IDs were ascertained to have been operated from Pakistan. Marwaha was arrested on February 7 this year by Delhi Police. He had been chatting with the ISI agents from December last year, police said.

The Group Captain was first detained by the Army for inspection and after proof of espionage was found, he was handed over to Delhi police who booked and arrested him under the Official Secrets Act. Laptops, Mobiles and CDs were recovered from him.

those who have developed the equipments they would have tested long ago. If you want to syncronize a AWACS built in US with let's say Mig 29, the americans would have tested long ago so the Russians too.
They don't really tell in open but it's an ongoing process for the developers.

The only great thing that would happen is syncronization of Tejas with rest of the IAF fleet.

They have tested, we need to exercise with them to make ourselves good with those equipment.

Tum logo ko Peedf effect hua hai kya? Aur lago pakistanio ke muh. See what you guys are discussing. Mohenjodaro, Jhakiro , Baniya what not. BC are you guys in your senses?

Indian Air Force carries out 10,000 sorties of combat aircraft fleet in 3 days – Indian Defence Research Wing

Aiming to prepare itself for a short and swift two-front war against China and Pakistan, the Indian Air Force (IAF) carried out around 10,000 sorties of its entire combat aircraft fleet in three days across the country to demonstrate its capability to undertake high intensity operations with the limited number of aircraft available.

The 72-hour intense war games were part of the first phase of the Exercise Gaganshakti, which is the biggest-ever war game carried out by the air force to prove its mettle, despite facing shortage of around 10 squadrons fighter aircraft due to lack of inductions and phasing out of the old MiG-series planes.

"Almost every combat aircraft of the force carried out six sorties on three consecutive days to demonstrate that we are capable of undertaking high tempo operations with the fleet available to us, and the shortage of combat planes does not have any impact on our capability to handle both war fronts," government sources told Mail Today.

"At some places, the weather conditions hindered the operations of combat aircraft, but we will compensate for it in the next phase. We have shown our capability to do more with the available resources to do away with the shortages," they added.

The IAF has a sanctioned strength of 42 squadrons, meaning around 840 combat aircraft of different planes, but the service is currently at only 31 squadrons (620 planes) due to delays in induction of any new aircraft and delays in the LCA Tejas combat aircraft programme. Despite the induction of two squadrons of the Rafale combat planes planned from 2019, the situation will not improve in the near future, as around 10 squadrons of the MiG-27 and MiG-21 planes are scheduled to be phased out by the year 2025.

In this scenario, the air force is carrying out more sorties from its existing fleet by improving the maintenance and serviceability of the planes, which helped it to get more out of its planes during the pan-India wargames, which started from April 8 and are expected to continue till April 22.

During the wargames, the air force carried out a drill where the IAF chief Birender Singh Dhanoa was taken to a forward base to monitor the high tempo operations under the protection of Sukhoi-30 combat aircraft.

Gaganshakti will see participation of over 1100 combat and transport aircraft, along with helicopters that will take off from air bases in north India and fly for over ten hours to drop bombs over the seas to demonstrate their capability.

The Indian Navy has also deployed its MiG-29K combat planes, which is deployed for only maritime strike roles over the sea. The aircraft fly along the Air Force to demonstrate its striking capabilities against any future threats.

Even though the Air Force insisted that the exercise is to demonstrate its capabilities and not against any specific country, the force would also focus on rapid deployment of troops along the borders with China.

The drills, known as Inter Valley Troop Transfer (IVTT), would be greatly helpful to tackle any Doklam type of crisis against China, as the force would be able to quickly move troops in large number in case of any incursion by the People's Liberation Army.

The force will also show landing and take off operations of its combat aircraft from the Advanced Landing Grounds in Arunachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, which have been reactivated in recent years to counter the growing Chinese infrastructure on the Line of Actual Control.
