AI is the singularly most important thing that any country should be focussing on. AI will enable most optimal decision making ability to a govt that uses it, meaning they can incentivize any particular outcome they want using the optimum amount of resources required. Essentially, this means exponential growth of your civilization. Without AI you would be dependent on biased humans & their biased decision making ability, which means a lot of error & trials to facilitate desirable outcomes. Countries which are left behind in AI will be left behind in pretty much every aspect of society - science, technology, innovation, military, space.....everything.
So, obviously, chinese & US are competing for it. Indian leaders are busy with far more important isssues like "Jaati Samikaran" or "who's imaginary pokemon in the sky is superior" i.e. religion. If you noticed in the video above, all the tech leaders leading US companies are indians. Congratulations India, your leaders have made you the greatest "bhaade ki labour" on international arena.
