I request moderator to make this thread a sticky. This thread would follow how sleeper cells and NGO's which are related or being funded by other countries are creating a particular atmosphere in India which may support the subversion of Indian society for their interest. Which leads to greater internal security threat for India.

For example:
Journalist arrested for ‘blackmailing’ Mahesh Sharma

Noida Police on Monday arrested a journalist for allegedly blackmailing Union minister Dr Mahesh Sharma after conducting a “sting operation” on him.
Advertising
The journalist claimed to have caught Sharma accepting a bribe, and allegedly demanded Rs 2 crore from the minister.
“We were informed at around 1.30 pm by the Union minister, telling us that a person is blackmailing him to the tune of 2 crore. The blackmailer allegedly asked him for 45 lakh by evening and the rest of the money later, else he would release a particular video to the media. We found that a woman had been sent by the person making the demand. The woman has been arrested and we are questioning her to ascertain further details,” Gautam Buddh Nagar SSP Vaibhav Krishna said.
The arrest was made from Sharma’s Kailash Hospital amid heavy barricading and security deployment.

According to the police, a video recording of a conversation between the journalist and Sharma has been recovered, and no objectionable content was found. The police said they recovered a piece of paper from the woman, which mentioned the Rs 45 lakh to be provided by evening and other details of suspected extortion.
Sharma claimed he was approached by the woman prior to the elections. “We had come in touch last month when she expressed interest in a door-to-door campaign… It was just a conversation. I got a call from another person in the first week of April claiming they have a video of me talking about money, which was absolutely untrue. It later turned out to be a demand for money…,” he said.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PS: A journo is arrested for blackmailing a Minister. Likewise, there are many journalists who are actually working for NGO's and foreign intelligence that have some sting operation or have honeytrapped a politician to serve the purpose of foreign intelligence in India aswell and not just for money.

One good case and a must read:

Eg: Pradeep Kumar also said that he saw notable writer Arundhati Roy with NDF leader Prof. P. Koya in a hotel room at Kozhicode.

ISI paranoia on Kerala Muslims – NCHRO

Thiruvananthapuram: Admittedly, the stigma of Pak or ISI connection on Kerala Muslims has a long history. To begin with, the label was on Muslim League ever since it became a powerful political force in Malabar region of Kerala in 1950s.The fact that in undivided British India it was Mohammed Ali Jinnah’s Muslim League which championed the cause of Pakistan did facilitate the need to fix the Pak tag on Muslim League in independent India’s deep southern state of Kerala. The stigmatized Pak tag grew further when, for the first time, the Muslim League was elected to share State power as well as won a Lok Sabha seat in 1960s in Kerala.

The new Muslim-majority Malappuram district formed in 1968 was instantly dubbed as “Mini-Pakistan”. This was promptly followed by reports in rapid succession on Pak ships dropping ISI arms on Malappuram coastal villages.

Charges of Pak agency never spared the Jamat-e-Islami, which was banned twice during 1975-77 emergency and post-Babri Masjid demolition in 1992.

The formations of Islamic Sevak Sangh in 1989-90, and later People’s Democratic Party in 1992-93, by an Islamic scholar, Abdul Nazar Madani, were predictably greeted with the same ISI stigma.

Madani, who became handicapped due to RSS bomb attack in 1992, is in Tamil Nadu jail for the past 7 years merely as under-trial accused in the 1998 Coimbatore bomb blasts, which continues to evoke loud protests from democratic milieu. Yet, the sticky ISI tag is still on him. Curiously, there were three common factors in this long history of Pak ISI stigma:

First, it was the Sangh Parivar leaders who systematically raised this Pak bogey on different Muslim bodies and their leaders in Kerala. Second, no tangible proof or convincing evidence was ever produced to substantiate this oft-repeated charge during the past half century. Third, while a large number of Muslims throughout India were held under the obnoxious TADA and POTA black laws for their alleged connection with Pak terrorists or ISI, Kerala happens to be the lone state where these draconian laws were never ever used.
Yet, a senior IPS officer, Ms. Neera Rawat, has no qualms to repeat the same stigmatic charge of ISI before the Marad Judicial Enquiry Commission. This time her ISI charge was on National Development Front (NDF), which was formed in 1993 with protection of human rights as one of its main agenda. However, since this is the first such testimony by an IPS officer under oath before the judiciary it had its own importance and significance.

Rawat, Senior Superintendent of Police at Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh at present, was the Kozhicode City Police Commissioner from March 22, 1997, to May 16, 1999. Through videoconference hearing procedure on May 13, she told the Marad Commission headed by Thomas P. Joseph that under her instruction a special team of the Kozhicode Special Branch headed by then Traffic Circle Inspector, C. M. Pradeep Kumar, had gathered information and prepared a report about NDF’s links with the Pak ISI apart from receiving funds from Iran. Using its sources and methods, the Special Branch had collected information. Its reports were confidential and authentic”, she testified under oath.

Quoting the Special Branch report, Ms. Rawat also said that the NDF had plans to send one person for ISI training in Pakistan which was abandoned later. She also spoke about NDF’s arms training and transportation of arms in ambulances. But, interestingly, Ms. Rawat admitted that no further investigation or action was undertaken on this police report.

Notably, Ms. Rawat’s evidence was necessitated when the Hindu Aikya Vedi general secretary Kummanam Rajasekharan deposed before the Marad Commission on April 4 by submitting the same police report against NDF. Ms. Rawat had no convincing answer as to how the Hindu militant leader got the report in advance, which she herself termed as “confidential”.

Denying the allegation, NDF Chairperson E. M. Abdul Rehman said his body never solicited assistance from outside agencies for its activities in Kerala. “The police officers statement is biased towards the Sangh Parivar”.

Disclosing its plan to move the High Court demanding “a comprehensive inquiry into leakage of police confidential report to Sangh Parivar”, NDF General Secretary Nazarudheen Elamaram said: “Since it was Hindu Aikya Vedi General Secretary Kummanam Rajasekharan who first submitted this police report to the Marad Commission, we want to know how he received it which is supposed to be confidential report.”

Ascertaining that a section within the police force is hand-in-glove with Sangh Parivar, Nazarudheen said: “Such a probe is necessary to find out how many other confidential police reports had been leaked out to the Sangh Parivar when Ms. Rawat was the Kozhicode Police Commissioner.” Stoutly dismissing Ms. Rawat’s allegations against NDF before the Marad Commission, he asked: “What did she do if at all she found out NDF’s ISI connection? How many cases she registered if at all she located NDF’s arms training camps?”

The NDF leader also recalled that the RSS Malayalam daily, Janmabhoomi carried an item on NDF’s connection with Iran when Ms. Rawat was the Police Commissioner. When challenged in the court, the RSS organ was forced to publish an open apology apart from paying NDF the court expenses.
Predictably, Ms. Rawat’s disclosure instantly echoed with demands to ban NDF from different Sangh Parivar bodies. BJP State President P. S. Sreedharan Pillai wanted a CBI probe into NDF link with ISI and questioned why the CPM, which was in power when Ms. Rawat made the investigation, never took follow-up action on it.

Following Ms. Rawat’s disclosure, National Security Advisor M. K. Narayanan, while responding to press persons on a visit to Guruvayur Temple, merely said that NDF’s ISI connection is yet to be probed. In simple terms, it meant that even the national security wing never knew the eight-year old investigation report of Ms. Rawat on NDF’s ISI link. Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy also told the querying reporters that Ms. Rawat’s disclosure needs to be probed further, meaning thereby that it never drew the State attention even after eight years.

Interestingly, Ms. Rawat’s version was contradicted on several counts by Pradeep Kumar whom she appointed to probe into NDF activities. Presently posted as DySP (Vigilance), he deposed before Marad Commission on May 20 that it was Abdul Nazar Madani, and not NDF, who unsuccessfully tried to send one person to Pakistan for training via Bangkok.

Answering as to whether there was any reliable evidence to prove NDF’s link with ISI and Iran, the DySP categorically stated that he never gave such a report as claimed by Ms. Rawat. According to him, Muslim organizations including NDF got funds from Muslim gold smugglers, unlike what Ms. Rawat said about ISI and Iran funds. Pradeep Kumar also said that he came to know about this when “more than 100 Muslim smugglers” held a meeting at a hotel in Kozhicode. Yet, no action was forthcoming against the smugglers either.
When cross-examined by NDF counsel Adv. K. P. Mohammed Sherief, the police officer admitted, “all these were pieces of information”. Although it needs to be investigated further, no such probe was carried out so far to his knowledge, he said.

Pradeep Kumar also said that he saw notable writer Arundhati Roy with NDF leader Prof. P. Koya in a hotel room at Kozhicode. “The NDF”, he testified, “got strengthened among the masses by taking up issues of human rights and environment”, without explaining whether that constituted a crime.
According to Ms. Sufia Madani, wife
of the imprisoned Abdul Nazar Madani, legal actions would be initiated against Pradeep Kumar for making the false allegation about her husband sending somebody for training to Pakistan. “Pradeep Kumar was part of the conspiracy to implicate Madani in Coimbatore blast case in 1998. He, along with then Police Commissioner Neera Rawat and Asst. Commissioner Chandran, had ill-treated Madni under custody,” Ms. Sufia said. Elaborating further, Ms. Sufia said that after arresting one Ashraf, the Kerala police tortured him for days together in illegal custody to make him agree that he knew Madani. Then his signatures on blank papers were elicited on coercion. “Later, the police wrote on it their own frivolous version about his so-called trip to Pakistan via Bangkok. As against this, Ashraf told the Tamil Nadu Sepcial Investigation Team probing the Coimbatore blast case that he don’t know Madani, that he was sent to Bangkok by somebody else, and that it was not meant to go to Pakistan.”

The politicalisation of police force is nothing new in Kerala. By virtue of their ruling period over the years, both Congress and CPM had created their own supporters at all levels within the police force. Even top IPS officers’ personal attachments and allegiance to various politicians are no more a secret. There were occasions when such police-politician nexus even drew sharp criticism from the judiciary. In two sensational murder cases of K. T. Jayakrishnan and Panniyannur Chandran, both Sangh Parivar leaders of Kannur district, in which capital punishments were awarded to CPM activists, the respective verdicts of Thalassery Sessions Judges K.K. Chandradas and Thomas P. Joseph, delivered respectively on August 26, 2003, and May 10, 2004, named various police officers for their nexus with the culprits and suggested the government to take stern action against them.

There were plenty of instances to suggest that a similar nexus between Sangh Parivar and police officers in Kerala had developed rapidly ever since the NDA Government occupied Central power in 1998, and especially after L. K. Advani becoming the Union Home Minister. It cannot be ruled out that Ms. Rawat’s Islamophobia, as was revealed from her unsubstantiated charge on NDF’s ISI connection, must also have stemmed out of such a nexus.

In particular, during the erstwhile NDA regime, visiting Central Ministers to Kerala were too eager to level wild allegations on Kerala Muslims’ ISI connection. For example, while inaugurating the delegate session of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) at Kozhikode in April 2002, the then Union Minister of State for Home, Vidyasagar Rao, said that Madrasas in Kerala were serving as bases for ISI agents to operate from. “ISI agents are luring students in many of these religious institutions to carry out militant mandates. We really need to be alert against the mushrooming of such Madrasas all across the State”.

Yet, like Ms. Rawat’s “finding” on NDF’s ISI link way back in 1998, no action was taken by Advani’s “pro-active” Home Ministry on his junior minister’s 2002 “finding” about ISI link with Muslim Madrasas in Kerala.

10 J-K militants based in Pak involved in LoC trade: officials

At least 10 militants, who had crossed over to Pakistan, set up businesses across the border with active aid of the ISI and were involved in funnelling weapons, narcotics, fake currency to terrorists and funds to separatists in Jammu and Kashmir through the recently suspended cross-LoC trade, officials said Wednesday.
These Jammu and Kashmir natives are either based in Islamabad and Rawalpindi in Pakistan or Muzaffarabad in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), they said.
They operate businesses ranging from almonds, dry dates, dry fruits to mangoes as part of the modus operandi to send money to fuel unrest in Jammu and Kashmir on behalf of the Pakistani intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), the officials said.
"The 10 Pakistan-based militants were involved in funnelling illegal weapons, narcotics and fake currency into the Valley misusing the recently suspended cross LoC trade routes," a senior security official said.
Enquiries conducted and record checks have established that these individuals have opened trading firms in Pakistan and were active in LoC trade, the official said.
India last week indefinitely suspended cross-LoC trade at two points along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir following reports that it was being "misused" by elements from across the border to smuggle weapons, narcotics and fake currency.
The LoC trade across Chakan-Da-Bagh and Salamabad was intended as a confidence building measure for the population living in Jammu and Kashmir and across the Line of Control (LoC) in PoK.
Security officials also gave details of the 10 militants and their businesses which were involved in the cross LoC trade.
They said Mehrajuddin Bhat, a resident of Tral, had gone to Pakistan to join militancy about a decade ago. He stays in Rawalpindi and had set up 'Mehrajuddin Traders' to get involved in the cross-LoC trade.
His brother is a registered LoC trader on the Indian side at the Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Uri, the officials said.
Nazir Ahmed Bhat, a resident of Pampore, had crossed over to Pakistan and joined militancy. He stays in Islamabad and runs a business through his firms 'New Kashmir Traders' and 'New Kashmir Firm'.
Basharat Ahmed Bhat and Showkat Ahmad Bhat, residents of Budgam, had crossed over to Pakistan during the 1990s and had joined militancy. They both stay in Rawalpindi.
The officials said Basharat runs his business through the 'Al Nasir Trading Company', while Showkat's trading firm is 'Taha Enterprises'.
Noor Mohammad Ganai, who also hails from Budgam, had crossed over to Pakistan over 20 years ago and joined militancy. He, too, stays in Rawalpindi and has a company 'Al Noor'.
Khursheed, a resident of Srinagar, had crossed over to Pakistan and joined militancy about eight years ago.He lives in Islamabad and does business through 'Khursheed and Sons'.
The officials said Imtiyaz Ahmed Khan, who was originally from Budgam, had crossed over to Pakistan about seven years ago. He stays Muzaffarabad and was involved in the cross LoC trade through 'MIK Traders' and 'Imtiyaz Traders'.
Amir, a resident of Pattan in Baramulla, had crossed over to Pakistan and joined militancy. Currently, he lives in Rawalpindi and was an active LoC trader, they said.
The official said Aizaz Rehmani, who hails from Srinagar, had crossed over to Pakistan in the 1990s and joined militancy. He stays in Muzaffarabad and holds the post of vice chairman of the 'People's League' in PoK.
Aizaz has set up business entities in Muzaffarabad and Islamabad.
Enquiries have revealed that Aizaz's brother-in-law is also involved in cross LoC trade since 2010 and has links with many cross LoC traders who were allegedly involved in drugs trade and hawala transactions, the officials said.
Shabbir Illahi, who was originally from Sopore, has been an active member of the terror group Hizbul Mujahideen and has been charge sheeted by the NIA in a case.
He was involved in the cross LoC trade through his firms 'MN Trading Company' and 'Sultan Traders'.
The trading firms under the control of the above mentioned militants were doing LoC trade with Indian trading firms which were mostly operated by their own relatives on the Indian side, another official said.
"The channel of LoC trade, meant to facilitate exchange of goods of common use between local populations across the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir, was being exploited to fund illegal and anti-national activities in Jammu and Kashmir.
"Money was being transferred to terrorist organisations and anti-India elements by these traders," the official said.
The direct involvement of militants in the cross LoC trade and their contribution to fund terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir was one of the reasons to suspend trade across the LoC.
The government will revisit the issue of resuming the LoC trade after stricter measures and systems are put in place to address these issues.
New measures are expected to restore benefit of LoC trade to local population only, rather than allowing terrorist organisations and unscrupulous traders based far away from these trading points to siphon off benefits and fuel instability in the valley, the official said.

Defence institutions oppose genetically modified seeds for food crops

Pakistan's Defence institutions oppose genetically modified seeds for food crops

Representatives of the army and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) participated in a consultative meeting and shared their views on taking strategic decision with regard to granting permission for commercial cultivation of genetically modified organism (GMO) maize, according to official documents.
The consultative moot was convened by the Ministry of Food Security & Research (NFS&R) and was chaired by its Secretary. In his introductory remarks, the chair informed the house that presently Pakistan is a non-GMO food country. The cotton crop is only officially allowed as GMO crop for commercial cultivation, according to minutes of meeting.
The representative of military's Strategic Planning Division (SPD) endorsed the opening statement of the chair. Taking about adverse impact of cross pollination, he further explained that although cotton crop is considered 90 percent self-pollinated and 10 percent cross pollinated crop, unfortunately existing non-GMO cotton crop has also been contaminated with GMO cotton crop. Now it is very difficult to harvest non-GMO cotton from existing crop.

Why I am sharing this news?

This is because, on other thread, I had mentioned about hybrid crops which was promoted by foreign firms in India. How did they get promoted? Through NGO's directly dealing with leaders and bureaucrats. This means that our leaders and bureaucrats were lured to promote such crops in India which are more in production but lower in quality. Thus giving a strategic food insecurity in the country when nutrients in the crop go missing. In no way, the indigenous cow milk or wheat crop is inferior to any foreign food product. Rather Indian indigenous food crop is highest in quality. But due to sabotaging the agriculture in India the foreign firms have destroyed our original food crops. Like Americans destroyed the Coffee plantation in Cuba which Russians were owning.

Where as as you can read in the above link how Pakistani military intervened and prevented such mixture and implementation of genetically modified food crops.

This means that our Indian side, people have been sold to outsiders and otherside Pakistani army is sensible that such kind of introduction to the crop system will tarnish the quality of product hence preventing to compromise on the food quality.

Yes true. They are trying to sabotage our crops quality. In our farm areas, we banned use of GMO crops.

This is known as biological war to inflict economic damage. This is a slow biological war on India. Once the crop quality goes down the export will reduce and also the health of the Indian citizens.

We talk about action on border, Mirage 2000, and SU30. But no one is concerned about the actual root level damage which is being done to India.

I blame people in Intelligence and armed forces for this. Absolutely they are the ones responsible for this

Vinay Joshi, convener of LRO in his public grievance petition sent on 14 February 2019 accused four editors namely Ajit Kumar Bhuyan (chief editor of Prag News channel), Nitumoni Saikia (editor of Pratidin Time news channel), Manjit Mahanta (former executive editor of Asomiya Pratidin newspaper) and Afrida Hussain (editor of InsideNE news portal) of propagating militant’s ideology to give them a fresh boost in the sideline of anti-CAB rows.
The LRO letter also urged the ministry to ‘investigate role of suspicious Assam media outlets and their owners, their financial transactions, source of income, possible flow of funds from foreign intelligence agencies and banned terrorist groups to media owners and all other possible aspects related to it’. The letter also added that on various occasions, these media outlets had openly professed the need to take up arms against New Delhi and broadcast propaganda videos of militant cadres.
Responding to the LRO letter, Union home ministry official Sanjeev Kumar sent an official communiqué to Assam police chief Kuladhar Saikia and State home secretary Ashutosh Agnihotri on 16 April directing to take necessary actions in the matter. However the communiqué had neither mentioned of any enquiry against the concerned editors nor asked for any follow-up report from the State government.
But twisted with facts, few media outlets reported that the Centre was going for investigations against the editors who opposed the CAB and actions against them. They simply projected the issue as an anti-media conspiracy of the Union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and tried to gather moral supports from the media fraternity across the country.

This means that yes, there is a machinery working in India trying to manipulate the politics and doing propaganda through Indian media even at rural level.
This is a dangerous situation!

For India it's is better that cabinet should allot more budget to Intelligence and for covert ops. Because now it has been proven that India will get less opportunity to use arms whatever it procures where as intelligence units can be prepared whenever there is a green signal, supported by technical intelligence.

Relying too much on foreign arms and procurement will only delay India's plan to stop adversaries.

India needs to build smart force.

No sir, there is plenty of awareness. There was huge campaigning against GMO and damaging of indigenous crops. Politicians are all aware. But we couldn't stop it because we had congress which was fully compromised. At our grampanchayat, we had classes on this. It is not an intelligence failure, but our political structure (politicians) which has failed.

On 27th there was a glitch in Air India servers and which led to the delay and cancellations of more than 130 air India flights and there after on 29th there was a glitch in IGI's immigration server.

Pattern tells that it was a cyber attack of denial of service ICMP type. First they targeted the air India servers made them the bots and later used them as bots to target immigration server at the air port after gaining access on the 27th itself. Looks like huge amount of data has been stolen from the immigration servers. Especially the passport numbers. Government is not telling the truth.

Chinese have this capability and also shows their foot print.

Air India Software Glitch: 155 Flights Delayed Till 8:30 PM Today

Air India service had a glitch and immigration servers also getting down.

Now we had made Pakistan stop their air activities every other time, chinese were also at loss due to our CAP. Looks like the advisories are trying to target Indian air transport to inflict loss.

India should increase the security at airports.

Killing of Naxal leader's wife may have prompted Maha attack

The Naxal attack in Maharashtra in which 15 police personnel lost their lives may have been in retaliation for the killing of a Naxal leader's wife in an encounter, an official said Friday.
The policemen and a driver were killed Wednesday after Naxals blew up their vehicle in Gadchiroli district. The IED blast's impact had left a large crater on the road.
Ramco alias Kamla Manku Narote (46), the "divisional committee member" of Gatta Dalam, killed in an encounter with police in Gadchiroli district on April 27, was the wife of influential Naxal leader Bhaskar Hichkani and was carrying a reward of Rs 16 lakh on her head.
Wednesday's attack by Naxals may have been a response by her husband to her killing, the official said.
The police team which came under the fatal Naxal attack, may have ignored standard operating procedures (SOPs) while planning their movement, the official said.
In the early hours of Wednesday, 27 vehicles were torched by Maoists at Dadapur in jurisdiction of the Purada police station, he said. Naxals knew a police team would be sent to Purada after the arson incident, the official added.
"It seems the police team did not follow the SOPs," he said, adding in such cases policemen should avoid using private vehicles and instead must go on foot.
The police team should have sensed the danger and avoided taking a private vehicle in a hurry to reach the arson site, the official said.
The policemen, members of the Quick Response Team, were called in as reinforcementfrom Kurkheda after the CRPF personnel there were shifted out for election duty, he said.
Naxals had information about the movement of the QRT team and planted the IED beneath the road to target the private vehicle ferrying the police personnel, he said.

This attack came exactly before declaring Masood Azhar as global terrorist at UN. There is a clear footprint of MSS-China.

What exactly they are doing is, they are trying to prove two things, they did same as Pulwama in Maharastra and now giving the message that okay, you are trying to delcare Pakistan as terrorist state, but look inside your own country. Who will deal with your home grown terrorist.

The other reason is they are showing India that China has better hold of Communist than Russians in India. I am absolutely sure that this would have irked the Russians as well, because very recently they facilitated the PM Modi with Russian highest civilian award and chinese are now jealous.

Very soon naxals will be divided, it's not possible to have two leadership one Russian other Chinese. Prepare for the clash, FSB won't let go assets out of their control!
