If babus & politicians who facilitated it do not go down after this.. then it will be a breach by GOI in its own policy of zero tolerance.

Details to be furnished for individuals who went to places like BD, Pakistan for Medical degrees.

Officials have clarified that the exercise is part of enhanced background verification and national security protocol, and there is no blanket allegation against doctors from these countries. However, the police have made it clear that strict action will be taken against any hospital failing to comply within the stipulated deadline. According to sources quoted by Jagran.com, the move was triggered by specific intelligence inputs received by agencies, prompting authorities to verify the background and credentials of such medical professionals.

This & many more such steps were what was needed on yesterday's basis. And there's nothing innovative about this move. MI-5 & MI-6 were recruiting from Oxbridge in the inter war years , likely earlier.

Ditto the OSS - the predecessor of the CIA & Bureau of Investigation , the predecessor of the FBI. It was the same MO followed by most western countries.

Interesting aside , the IB in the days of the Raj also kept tabs on Indian students & had a vast network of informers especially overseas students of Indian origin in the UK. That's how Savarkar was indicted & sentenced to life in the Andaman Islands.

As I've remarked before , in spite of losing ~ half a million to terrorist incidents & communal violence , we've learnt nothing & forgotten nothing.

India's not a serious country. Period.

Session 2 of ANI’s first-ever National Security Summit, “The Enemy Within”, brings clear insights from Lt Gen D.P. Pandey (Retd) and Col Hunny Bakshi (Retd). They explain how internal radicalisation, hidden networks, and weak spots can be spotted before they turn into violence.

Pretty much. Non stop raids and detention/arrests in other parts of the country since past few weeks now. It seems the govt. has found a couple of modules and not just the Haryana lot.

I would also put the recent mandate to link sims with WhatsApp every time, mandatory app in phone's being one step under this policy only. Policy to tackle sleeper cells.

They typically don’t use regular phones any way. They have access to high end sat devices that support encrypted communications.

That's the one actively involved in it ( i.e terrorists themselves or indian handlers like that saheen ).. the digital trace though can be used to trace suspicious activities especially of those who are knowingly or unknowingly a part of it.
Many small time goons become part of it thinking of it as just a larger hand , not knowing they aided in terror. Then the samchar app. If the backend ecosystem and response is really robust as govt say.. this could further dampen easy loopholes that networks use.

Bcuz we were barely one country in our history, I counted that a large chunk of us were united for less than 1/5th of the entire history of our existence as a civilization. When ethnic passions in such a diverse country are inevitable then where can seriousness be formed. My friends father in ARDE was passed over for a promotion because the guy who got promoted and the boss were both Mallus, so what a suprise. My relative in Strategic Forces said that the ethnic groups in that service formed their own little groups with little inter mingling at least in his time. And then to this kichidi add the legacy of that hijra Gandhi and his pile of batshit that people call an ideology we get a real legacy of acting like eunuchs.

So, every one asking if Pakistan and Munir was behind this (though every one knew it) - here is the official declaration.
They've filed the chargesheet that names the handlers, who are Pakistani, and the kind of activities they were supporting. The question is whether the govt. has the diplomatic heft to actually get the ball rolling against the PA. Considering the statements that have been made by the MEA so far, I would like to see at least an effort to be made to ensure that the case gets brought up before the relevant intl. organisations. If they are serious about the whole 'stricter' responses, the ideal course of action would be to get the newer terror outlets recognised. Hope the babus are quicker/smarter this time around.

💯 In addition to that, we need to establish deterrence. Our measured approach has clearly not had the desired effect and has so far failed to establish credible deterrence against such acts by Pakistan. That needs to happen. We are setting ourselves up for more attacks below / at the threshold of Red fort blast if we don’t retaliate (both diplomatically and militarily).

Being nimble is what matters when it comes to such things. I hope that take a more aggressive route post their investigation and drag PA around a bit. It would be a welcome change.
