Explosion near Red Fort: At least 9 dead, several injured in blast

Well now we know it was a terrorist incident, as for ricin plot it is indeed very serious and was moderately covered. 0.5 front poses some threats, but in the larger scheme of things while we may lose some citizens they will not disrupt our overall campaign against Pakistan or BD as we have a huge internal intelligence community along with the muscle (police, CRPF) to deal with these threats while the military does its ops.
While I agree that there exists an internal setup, there are still questions that need to be raised about their effectiveness. There are multiple questions that have been raised in this thread itself about certain lapses. The govt. and the babus need to update their regulations and guidelines. Any article that is related to internal security must be revised as time passes. The RICIN and drone related plots are of particular concern. I have reviewed the footage of the border checks being conducted along the Indo-Nepal border. Trust me, you do not want to look at the condition of those check posts. They belong in the 80s and have not been updated ever since.

The govt. needs to review a lot of its border infrastructure if it is serious about things related to internal security. As you can imagine, things continue to move at a 'glacial' pace when it comes to the HM babus.

Mark my word, no military action will take for this blast. Uncle sam's pressure made us to go cold.
And honestly i want to be prove wrong on my statement, sad part is its far from reality.
Bhai, lets see how things get played out. I am hearing murmur in certain departments about december. but i am not 100% sure. Things are influx.

If you are hearing murmer about war, then that's not for actual, its a mesaage to pak or to someone else.

In 1971,IG gave instruction Sam in an un usual way, she called him to his room and then she took a paper and written a date "dec 6" and gave to him without uttering a word. Ince he saw the date she herserf burned that paper. Dec 6 was the date we choose to attack pak. (But pak attacked us on dec 3 and war has startrd). That much seriousness and scerecy will be there.

"Terrorism will be considered an act of war saar"

"Terrorism will be considered an act of war "....did modi/doval say " for every terror attack we will respond in 10 minutes or 10 days ?" ..... Can you guys stop this impatient rants ...deepstate is fully backing this rabid dog munir ( his number of visit after ops sindoor is a indication) and Americans are desperate to avenge and teach modi a lesson for ..... NurKhan airbase and other american asset loss , Modi putin freindship at SCO , not giving a favorable trade deal and want to create havoc during Putin's planned visit this year to delhi and also wanted to destroy our economy by dragging us in a long drawn war ....government has to walk a tightrope in managing all these with less damage to our economy ....when no government which ruled in the past in India have destroyed 9 airbases and countless other assets like modi/doval ....why u and so many guys here keep ranting like impatient kids when government have walked the talk all the time . Btw, attacking Pakistan is not a 2 min noodle preparation , let the government and armed forces take it time and give a proper response at the time and place of their choosing . Also , with opposition like congress do you think modi/shah doesn't know the cost interms of both politcal and national security for not responding to a terror attack ? they know far better than any keyboard warriors here and they know what needs to be done and when it needs to be done .

We are back to 2000s, we are back to what we worked so hard to keep away. All because we have one eccentric power hungry moron as the “Failed M-*censored*-al” of our neighbouring country!

No. That is deliberate tactics adopted by terrorists and adversaries. Their goal is manyfold.. first to check the response time and the nature of response. Second is to find holes and most importantly to fatigue the police mentality. It's not about getting tired but diminishing value of threats in a police officers mind.

If they do it 99 times, there will be a police officer who will be slow, or deny, neglect the threat. That's where adversary will find an opening. Next 100 threats will have one real hidden threat.

And that's a challenge for the security apparatus too. For now, the only viable option is to have an SPG grade rotation policy for every ground officer and superior. So, that human fatigue doesn't get in.

Next is institutional fatigue, for that, have to incorporate AI based monitoring, flagging etc to maintain constant threat perception. And ofcourse, pre-emptive measures to weed out modules. No more ignoring people like arundhati and that sold out reporter for whom international left ecosystem came to defend. Then people like zubair and coterie who get dubious funding.

Frankly, in interest of national security, anyone who always categorically shields, defends terrorists in the name of religion, manipulation by fake news.. must be under radar. Freedom of speech can't superseded freedom of life.

We go after radicals and must, but also need to nab their enablers. If this attack had done anything, it has finally crushed the notion of terrorists being limited to ghettos.

For India it's ek taraf kuaan dusri taraf khaayi ( between the devil and deep blue sea). If India fights, economic loss, if it doesn't fight national security loss. The situation has always been like this for several reasons. One major reason being aimless defence and foreign policies.

My take on this is. Do a quick but extremely brutal and forceful operation killing leadership and infrastructure in both Bangladesh and Pakistan, Kill Munir and entire top level military leadership of Pakistan, destroy DHA colonies in mass by rocket bombardment and then issue nuclear threat to Pakistan that if it retaliated it will be nuked to hell. Same with Bangladesh, ensure Yunus is dead and most of the youth supporting him are brutally killed in air raids.

Run it for 2 weeks and then declare unilateral ceasefire.

Sanctions, arms embargo, isolation galore. And remember we need GE engines for our jets still. Not to mention technical support from the west and Taiwan for our semiconductor industry.

This must be dealt with covertly. Use TTP, BLA to target Pak armed forces and even their families. Inflitrate Bangladesh and conduct ops using assets in army. Time to use covert means. If they succeed in any of the large terrorist plots then we crush them as you said.

So many people here including you ignore the third and best option of covert ops and increased support for BLA TTP and other elements. Give drones to TTP and light PAF bases on fire, use the same border crossing to arm BLA and make them do weekly attacks against Pak military. This is the best option rn.

Not even israel will do the to Munir, in current scenario

The people with the most clarity regarding this issue are retired IA folks that were involved in J&K CI/CT ops. Lt. Gen Dhillon (Retd) presented his views in this video. You can ignore the rest of the conversation. A sane panel with no shouting.

The govt. it seems still has some reservations with using certain aspects of....let's say 'force' when it comes to certain prickly issues in the valley.
