The one in Nowgam happened because the terrorists had stockpiled tonnes of explosives in the first place, trying to separate it with Red Fort blast wouldn't be correct. It was a terrorism-induced incident even if "accidental".

There were many amongst those who retired from CI/CT Ops in late 2010s who had stated that there were people in the valley who had certain inclinations and happened to be highly educated. The DM and PM should never have given that particular statement regarding acts of war. Blanket politcial statements will only invite ridicule. People in India will set unrealistic unexpectations and in the end will question your intent. This is a problem that they themselves created for the GoI. An internal reassement and change in security posture (actions) that would be visible in public domain would have worked fine. India has not reached a threshold where it can intiate large scale kinetic actions w/o repercussions.

Well now we know it was a terrorist incident, as for ricin plot it is indeed very serious and was moderately covered. 0.5 front poses some threats, but in the larger scheme of things while we may lose some citizens they will not disrupt our overall campaign against Pakistan or BD as we have a huge internal intelligence community along with the muscle (police, CRPF) to deal with these threats while the military does its ops.
