Explosion near Red Fort: At least 9 dead, several injured in blast

No action would be taken likely, given Thier actions & statements,
Anyways you can't Stop 0.5 until you dismantle the root cause,
Ppl will be indoctrinated, given multiple digital platforms, funding & support from the adversary, it's impossible for the state to Stop ppl joining the terror outfits,

Yesterday attack is a litmus test for them, they will get to know on what scale the govt considers it as major terrorist attacks,
There job would be do such attacks on timed intervals, keep the conflict highlighted & legitimise the rulling of Pakistan army in the Pakistan portraying India has bigger threat,

Key Takeaways from "Behind the Red Fort Blast | Lt Gen (Retd.) Ata Hasnain’s Eye-Opening Analysis" (Generated by Perplexity):

  • Nature & Context of the Attack: The incident at Red Fort exhibits clear hallmarks of a terror attack, rooted within a persistent and complex terror ecosystem that includes over-ground workers, ideologues, intellectuals, and professionals like doctors. These groups may lead normal lives but can support terror networks in clandestine ways.
  • Challenges in Neutralizing the Ecosystem: Even though India has managed to reduce the number of active terrorists, the supporting network or "ecosystem" remains a latent threat, capable of resurgence if not completely dismantled.
  • Intelligence Successes & Vigilance: India’s intelligence agencies and police have played a vital role in preventing major attacks in urban areas, notably keeping Delhi secure for many years. Recent discoveries (e.g., large nitrate recovery, arrest of professionals) underscore ongoing threats but also demonstrate that India’s security apparatus is effective in unearthing conspiracies.
  • Holistic Security Approach: The "whole-of-nation" concept governs India's national security strategy, where multiple agencies (military, intelligence, police, scientific, youth, academia, and civil organizations) collaborate closely—not in silos as in the past.
  • Terror Funding & Methods: Financing for these networks often involves narcotics trafficking (notably in Punjab and Kashmir) and other covert financial streams, making counterterrorism a multi-agency challenge.
  • Role of Technology & Society: Greater investments in technologies such as AI for predictive analysis and citizen vigilance are emphasized as key factors in tackling future threats.
  • International & Internal Threats: There remains a steady external threat, particularly from across the border in Pakistan, supported by its intelligence infrastructure. Nevertheless, internal stabilization and vigilance are equally important as destabilization attempts are ongoing in neighboring states.
  • Societal & Economic Resilience: The aim of such attacks may be to erode public confidence, create insecurity, deter global investments, and slow down India’s aspirational economic growth. However, the manner in which authorities and civilians responded to the Red Fort incident showcases India's capacity and maturity to handle such crises without losing confidence.
  • Uncertainty & Evidence-Based Response: The analysis underscores the importance of waiting for confirmed evidence before drawing conclusions or assigning blame, with Indian leadership praised for its measured and mature reaction.
  • Continuous Counterterror Operations: Countering terror networks is seen as an ongoing process—success today does not guarantee future safety, and constant vigilance is necessary.
  • Optimism for India's Trajectory: Despite the threats, the expert expresses strong confidence in India’s robust growth, young demographics, and increasing international support for neighbors, predicting continued resilience and a secure, prosperous future for the country.

A take from a man considered close to the current administration. Good explanation on how this ecosystem operates.

It seems a wide network is being probed and investigated. As many here have pointed out, the govt. intends to turn its effort towards certain internal factors. Sindoor 2.0 is unlikely to happen immediately. The investigation of FSL has yet to be published in the public domain.

How many of you all think India is going to retaliate against pak?

Let’s wait for the CCS meeting today evening. I expect some things to be made public via a press conference. However, if we don’t respond to this attack (focusing on internal cleanup alone) - the result is going to be catastrophic. This is like establishing a threshold that is “acceptable” to us - where we feel we needn’t respond. This will become the norm.

Like I posted before, internal cleaning is a long term mission - it cannot happen overnight. The sleeper cells etc needs funding and direction for them to work. It’s that head that direct them that needs to be severed.

I also believe so. This act has much more significance than Pahelgam if our political class and babus can read it. I bet no other country in this world will take it . Eye watering amount of explosive and bio chemicals recovery.

Let's wait for PM to chair the meeting. I dont know what's going on but the government is very secret and private this time. Reminds me of the days of demonetization, Article 370 days.

They likely know more factors revolving around this event. The whole world is waiting and watching for India's next move. As everyone has already said, it's part of the doctrine test now. And far more significant for both India as a nation and Modi as a leader.

As for mainstream media, I don't think they have access to their usual 'sources' this time. Everyone's being very tight lipped. Its a terrorist attack, no doubt. J&K police press note mentioned links to Pakistan too. Now it depends on political and Military general's will and assessment.

Why wait until they attack ? problem is that India does not continuously pursue these terrorists & the OGW's. Instead we slack off and and then these worms start popping up. We need to be relentless against these scums , especially these OGW's, they should be hounded out. We need to put that fear factor into these animals.

So far no offical blame on pak.The two possibilities for this are 1) no concrete evidence is available to link this terror attack with pak yet 2) GOI doesn't want to engage pak with military action a) because of lesser casualty b) because of trump or not ready yet, since our last statement was to wage war on pak if an pak backed terror attack happens.
