Hello Folks, New to this place. 
Wanted to discuss specifically to Cockpit display technology used around the world. This is something that looks flimsy but adds real value when it comes to empowering pilot in the combat situation.
As i assume & probably F22 & F35 has most advance in this area. They have Single touch enabled Wide Area Display and it's has customisable layout and situation driven information coming indirectly from the sensor fusion system. Newer Gripen also has similar tech. India too will add this in next fighter.
Guessing WAD is cheaper option in terms of complete package even with cost on higher side of display module itself. As it might require single controller & power module. Only disadvantage might be some redundancy provided by multiple displays.
