Brahmos Supersonic Cruise Missile : News, Updates and Discussions

India was itself firing IAI Herops non stop actually the ancestor of Shaheds Lol.
But India wasn't manufacturing it in the tens of thousands per year. India's strategy only paid off because the kinetic portion lasted 4 days.

His point is to scale up the manufacturing base for Brahmos and in the future RDE based hypersonic vectors like you're stamping out Shaheds.

The Indian-made BrahMos cruise missile system, considered the Philippines' most powerful weapon in its arsenal, will be subjected to simulation firing during the maritime strike phase of the “Balikatan" military exercises.

"The BrahMos of the Coastal Defense Regiment of the Philippine Marines will participate during the Balikatan, but it will be only in a constructive environment. It will only [be] … simulation firing during the joint maritime strike in Northern Luzon," Philippine Balikatan exercise director Maj. Gen. Francisco Lorenzo said in a press briefing at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City on Monday.

Simulation firing refers to a training scenario where all sensors and fire control systems of the platforms are activated as if in an actual scenario, except that no weapons are launched.

"There will be a lot of capabilities [that] will be utilized during this Balikatan but as of now, we cannot say when and what (those) will be," Lorenzo added.

This is the first time the BrahMos will be used in Balikatan drills

"We are trying to reduce the cost of BrahMos and that is being done by looking at each subsystem and how we can reduce the cost. The second missile that we are looking at is a long-range anti-ship missile, which was the original role for the BrahMos. This is a fully indigenous missile which can fly faster than BrahMos. We have done two development tests and the third development test is also planned very soon, most likely in the month of May. And once the development trials are over, we'll offer it to the users. We hope to get it inducted in the next two to three years..."

A big leap towards #AatmanirbharDefence

BrahMos Aerospace revenue has crossed ₹5200 crores for the year 2025-2026

The new Lucknow facility has started rolling out the first batch of missiles within a year of commencing operations.

Brahmos Aerospace is also steadily growing its foot print in the world market with two export orders worth ₹4000 crores signed in 2025-26, meeting a considerable defence export target set by Hon’ble PM.

Brahmos Aerospace is meeting all the requirements of armed forces within stipulated timelines.
The last line seems to be aimed at the recent report from navbharat times.

Data Patterns Concall

Regarding BrahMos seekers, the first variant of the development seeker order is under execution. Once there the execution is completed, I think in the next 4, 5 months' time, the production orders would start coming in. They've indicated production orders, and they want it to be delivered before next year, middle is what the customer is saying. So I don't think there is going to be any distress on delivery time lines as far as BrahMos is concerned with our kind of seekers and systems.

Whatever orders was given in 3, 4 months back in BrahMos seeker, we've already delivered. And by March, we delivered it. So our time lines for delivery is quite fast with respect to other competitors, which are there in this line of business. So I don't think we'll have a problem in
terms of revenue
