On a serious note, Jyotish vidya is the supreme of all sciences. It is simply that the proofs and foundations for theories postulated in the Jyotish Vidya are not understood by most of the materially thinking people. Jyoti = light, which brings forth which can be seen, which otherwise is hidden in darkness. The darkness of ourselves. Of who we are? Are we just this material body who are pursuing fulfillment of desires of our mind, driven out of our sense organs at the cost of others and the self too, by the selfish application of our intellect?

Our sages meditated on this idea at a time known as Sat-yuga where performing one's duties, aka Dharma, was supported by four ‘legs’— austerity, cleanliness, truthfulness, and kindness at all levels of existence - shareer, indriyaas, Manas, Buddhi and Atma. And they built a foundational understanding of the extremes to which this human computer can swing - from an evolved soul to a demonic existence, based on the extent to which the above qualities were cultivated in oneself. Jyotish became the key guiding principle in Kali yuga, which commenced in 3102 BC, because in this yuga, the only leg on which Dharma stood was that of the truthfulness. One leg was lost in the end of each of the preceeding yugas. And hence, in order to know the reason for one's miseries or prosperity (both are felt as an outcome of material experience), one is expected to face the truth bluntly. That is the only path for prosperity (again do not mistake prosperity for material gain)

Hence, truth is the only support system to bring humans on the side of Dharma. And this is where Kali was hell bent to break the backbone of Dharma too by making people addicted to the pleasures derived out of - gambling houses, in taverns, in women of unchaste lives, in slaughtering places and in gold. Kali distracts the mind to such an extent, that it snatches away sanity to think truthfully.

Jyotish is a very very complex system, a representative of the cosmic system, which in the times of Kali, helps humans to stand up and help them to start walking again at the lowest form of existence - the physical form of "shareer" and with the means of physical "kriyas" like a fast, tying the red thread on the wrist, reciting mantras without understanding and experiencing its power, visiting temples, etc. However, the supreme guidance of Jyotish is for humans to understand their source and learn ways to merge back with it, the process which is called attaining Moksha. It is represented by the 12 house in your chart as well as the D-60 chart.

This is what I always tell to my questioning friends. Rocket science needs a rocket scientist to understand it. Just because the science is true doesnt mean the average Joe gets it. Just like in maths exams, the equations are correct but not everyone calculate it right and not many turn out with 100/100.

On topic - Most of the plagiarized theorms/equations have been lifted from our Jyotish texts. Like Keplars equation, planetary movements, etc.

Do you know to draw natal charts? Im in need of some serious help, but I dont want to be bothering anyone either. It is just he people I approached, I dont know how good they are.

I know it completely but we dont do it for individuals as long back my forefather Dronacharya gave it up as a promise to Lord Parshram. We retain the knowledge of this science but we do not do it for individuals. Just remember that astrology is a Vedanga. It is a must Know if you want to study vedas.

Time keeping in vedas is thru the knoledge of astrology and so is the calculation of Muhurata. You need to know the planetary motion to calculate it and for that you have to study astrology as part of Vedas.

Drawing natal charts is simple now a days. It is simply calculations.

Reading and Predicting is a very complex effort. However, it should not be used for prediction, instead it should be used as a tool for correcting and re-orienting to bring one back on the the path of life to perform dharma, artha, kama and moksha - following the golden rule principle

My thoughts too :)

Okay. I got Venus in Leo. What should I do to correct karma?? As I see I get material blessings, but bound to create problems for marriage/girl. I dont want anything untoward to happen to her.

Also is my best match Scorpio or Aries?? I'm attracted to both. I dont have any girls info though. Havnt started seeing anyone.

Does Leo in Ascendant and Leo in Venus match Aries a good match for me?? I have a strong preference for them. I consider myself a Cancer-Leo cusp. More Leo because of profession, thoughts, etc. Also my chart is mostly air and fire signs. So I thought Aries maybe the one?? Will marriage with Aries work in my case?

I don't understand the meaning of tharki in hindi - I think it means flirt, if it means disloyal, well no, I'm the most loyal person on the planet (turned down one girl who wanted to do anal, just because I didn't want to cheat the girl I'll marry who I don't even know who is, that loyal!!). Well sex wise, totally extreme (I fantasise of blood transfusion sex once, will definitely do it and post on porn channel if the girl is a scorpio!! I think I never saw that in porn movies), infact that is why I was thinking of marrying scorpio, they totally get it. But Aries are the ones I noticed the most. I'm a tech entrepreneur by profession, and totally get inspired by Aries energy, I love their lighthearted playful innocent yet wild nature. I'm already rich by inheritance, but i plan to give it all away to my younger brother willfully. I'm quite convinced I'll be rich on my own, that is what made be kind of vaguley decide to give it away.
